Under-the-Radar Recruits That Excel on Floor

Our recruit ratings make it easy to discover all-arounders who will lead their teams to NCAA success in the coming years. However, event specialists play an important role on college teams too, and these gymnasts may slip under the radar while being recruited. Each year we take the time to highlight uncommitted, three-star, and/or unrated gymnasts who excel on each event, and this article focuses on floor.

Class of 2026

Kambry Tucker

Why She Stands Out: One of the top floor competitors in her class, Tucker is not only a compelling and dynamic performer, but an extremely powerful and clean tumbler. Her form throughout all three of her passes is legitimately excellent, with a continued high standard through all of her leaps and dance elements.

Bailee Jones

College: Centenary

High Score: 9.850

Why She Stands Out: Jones has a confident and energetic style on floor that Centenary will be thrilled to add to its roster this upcoming season. She competes three extremely well-executed passes, with reliably clean landings amongst all of them. Of particular note are her leaps, within which she gets immense airtime while also fully hitting her split positions with ease.

Raegan McCarty

College: Missouri

High Score: 9.825

Why She Stands Out: With a pair of difficult and cleanly performed combination passes, McCarty brings high-value and unique skills with a matching top standard of execution. She is a quick and reliable twister, and moves with amplitude throughout each of her elements. She controls her dynamics well, leading to a seamless feeling throughout her routine.

Dayana Nataren

Why She Stands Out: A former Region 3 and Texas state champion on this event, Nataren returned to competition in 2026 after missing the entire season prior due to injury. She has returned to her best event in commanding fashion, featuring optimal form and an energetic style of performance throughout her routine. She remains an excellent option for any coach looking to further boost their floor lineup come January.

Nadine Glanville

Why She Stands Out: Glanville’s routine is exceptionally done, with a captivating level of performance that matches the precise execution of her tumbling. Seiko Mallon

Why She Stands Out: Mallon has a beautiful sense of artistry, which adds something very special to a routine already filled with precise and well-performed skills. Her ability to truly perform her choreography stands out brilliantly, with her position-perfect leaps coming forth as another area worthy of mention.  

Kylie Flannigan

Why She Stands Out: All of Flannigan’s passes are dynamic, precise in form, and impressively landed, providing her with a strong technical foundation that allows her routine to shine. With relatively consistent scoring capacity amongst her 2026 performances, her routine is dependable and trustworthy.

Ava Trezza

Why She Stands Out: Trezza set a new career high at nationals with her title-winning performance, indicating upward momentum on this event that should only grow with time. She has confident and capable tumbling, with a commendable sense of security within her skills. She also performs her choreography to the fullest, adding further dynamics to her routine. 

Catarina Palladio

Why She Stands Out: While Palladio missed the 2026 competitive season, her 2025 routine is so cleanly performed that it is worthy of mention. With a recent gym switch in the books, Palladio will be a gymnast to watch on floor over the remainder of her club career. 

Julia Sciacchitano

Her sense of artistry is worthy of a specific mention; she hits each moment of her routine’s choreography with precision and intention, further elevating her overall performance.
