NCAA Gymnasts Compete at Pan American Championships
Michigan juniors Sophia Diaz and Jahzara Ranger traveled to Brazil with their Michigan coaches to represent the Dominican Republic and Jamaica at the Pan American Championships, respectively. They both qualified to the World Championships taking place later this year, with Ranger placing 11th in the all-around. Also competing were Southern Connecticut freshman Amika Every for Aruba; Centenary junior Erin Pinder for Barbados; Stanford junior Alana Walker and Fisk alumna Kiara Richmon for Jamaica; Iowa junior Aurélie Tran and Utah freshman Gabrielle Black for Canada; UCLA freshman Michelle Pineda for Mexico; and Florida freshman Simone Rose for the United States. Tran won the gold medal on the uneven bars.

- Arizona State nabbed three transfers this week.
