Under-the-Radar Recruits That Excel on Beam

Our recruit ratings make it easy to discover all-arounders who will lead their teams to NCAA success in the coming years. However, event specialists play an important role on college teams too, and these gymnasts may slip under the radar while being recruited. Each year we take the time to highlight uncommitted, three-star, and/or unrated gymnasts who excel on each event, and this article focuses on beam.

Why She Stands Out: Beach’s style on the beam is quick, dependable, and undeniably poised. She is powerful and precise throughout her leaps, with a rapid snap into position that exudes confidence. Her form throughout the entirety of her routine is very strong, culminating in a beam performance that should quickly see lineup time. 

Sophia Stellato

Why She Stands Out: Jensen’s front toss to scale is unique, well-executed, and truly lovely to watch. She maintains a confident disposition throughout her routine that shines through on all of her skills. Her routine is clean overall, and should prove very valuable to Minnesota when the time comes. 

Cali Kruer
