Transfer & Eligibility Updates

Incoming Transfers
  • Two more Iowa State gymnasts found new homes, with Peyton Nock transferring to Illinois and Finley Weldon transferring to New Hampshire. Both gymnasts were freshmen in 2026. 
  • Michigan State freshman Lilia Cosman became the third Spartan to transfer to Nebraska this offseason.
  • Michigan senior Paige Thaxton transferred to Illinois for a fifth year of eligibility.
  • Southern Connecticut sophomore Maria Chronopoulos also transferred to New Hampshire. 
  • Northern Illinois junior Mikayla Brown transferred to MAC rival Western Michigan. 

Coaching & Staff News

  • Former Nebraska assistant coach Montana Rall joined Illinois’ staff in the same role. Former Illini assistant coach and gymnast Abby Mueller was removed from the roster. 
  • Former Texas Woman’s assistant coach Zan Jones was added to Arkansas’s staff in the same role.
  • Former BYU gymnast Shannon Evans joined BYU’s staff as an assistant coach. 
  • Pennsylvania assistant coach Mabry Craddock is leaving the school to become Auburn’s new director of operations.

  • Alabama rising sophomore Azaraya Ra-Akbar qualified in the all around to the U.S. Classic. Former Missouri gymnast Amari Celestine also qualified to the event on vault, beam, and floor.
  • Former California gymnast Casey Brown earned the Oscar and Theodore Geballe Postgraduate Scholarship to continue her studies at Imperial College London.
