Canadian Nationals

While Canadian nationals includes both level 10 athletes and elites, due to the competition schedule, this recruiting roundup will focus on the level 10 competition, while next week’s will focus on elites.

The first day of the level 10 competition is for team competition, but since all athletes compete in the all around, it’s worth celebrating some individual accomplishments. Uncommitted three-star Danica Signarowski (‘26) came away with the win in the all around, as well as on bars and beam. The second position in the all around went to Sydney Thomas (‘28), who also had the highest floor score, while third went to three-star Seren Jackson (Central Michigan, ‘26). The highest score on vault belonged to Chloe Ross (Kent State, ‘26).

Many of the athletes maintained their success through the second day, which counts towards individual titles. Signarowski took the all around, bars, and beam titles, while tying for second place on floor. Thomas came second in the all around and took the floor title. Vanessa Wilson (‘26) took third place in the all around with Josie Maryschak (Northern Illinois, ‘26) in fourth, and four-star Sienna Fretwell (Southern Utah, ‘26) in fifth. Maryschak also took the vault title and was runner-up on beam, while Fretwell was runner-up on bars and tied for second on floor. Other notable results included Heidi Mueller (‘26), who came second on vault, Ross, who followed in third, Jackson with third on bars, Jessica Hayashi (‘28), who took third on beam, and Molly Holowchuk (‘27), who also tied for second on floor.
