BREAKING: Laurent Landi Named Georgia Associate Head Coach

Georgia announced decorated club coach Laurent Landi as the program’s new associate head coach. Landi joins his wife, head coach Cécile Canqueteau-Landi, in Athens on a revamped staff that now also includes Brenna Brooks and Megan Haught. Brooks competed at the Landis’ original club gym, WOGA, and Haught was previously a coach there as well.

“Laurent and I have worked together for over 20 years, and throughout that time we’ve had incredible success at both the elite and club levels,” Canqueteau-Landi said. “I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with him again in the NCAA. Seeing him at every home meet becoming more and more invested, I had a feeling he would eventually want to join me in helping bring this program back to the top. His experience, passion, and commitment to excellence will make such a positive impact on our student-athletes and our future.

After over 20 years coaching together in club, the Landis now join forces again for the first time since the 2024 Olympics, at which they coached Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles to the team gold medal and four individual medals between them.
