BREAKING: Ashley Kerr to Leave Oklahoma, Olivia Trautman Named Assistant Coach

Oklahoma assistant coach Ashley Kerr resigned from her position on Tuesday. She will be replaced by former Oklahoma standout Olivia Trautman, currently an assistant coach at Utah State.

Kerr has been on the Oklahoma coaching staff since 2018, when she joined as a volunteer assistant. She was promoted to assistant coach in 2023 and has primarily coached beam. Oklahoma won five of its national championships during her tenure, which overlapped with Trautman’s entire career.

“I’m incredibly grateful to be able to come back to the University of Oklahoma as an assistant coach,” remarked Trautman. “This program shaped me into the athlete and person I am today, and I’ll forever be thankful for every coach, teammate and person who poured into my journey along the way.”

Under Trautman’s tutelage in 2026, Utah State won the Mountain West’s regular season championship and conference title. Prior to Utah State, she served as a graduate assistant for Oklahoma in 2025.
