Coaching & Staff News

Allan Leaving BYU Staff

BYU assistant coach Warde Allan is leaving the coaching staff after six years. He formerly competed for BYU on the men’s team.  

Jackson Added to UW-Oshkosh Staff

Former Winona State gymnast Eboni Jackson was named as an assistant coach at Oshkosh. Jackson was previously announced as head coach of Wilberforce, but never appeared on the roster.

Stuckey Promoted to First Assistant Coach at Ohio State

Former Eastern Michigan gymnast Mickayla Stuckey was promoted to first assistant coach at Ohio State. She has been on the Buckeyes’ coaching staff since August of 2023. 

Kelly Added to Air Force Staff

Sharon Kelly was named an assistant coach at Air Force. Kelly was previously a club coach at Ultimate Gymnastics in Georgia, and served as a consulting coach for the Falcons last year. 

Cramer Added to New Hampshire Staff

Former Springfield men’s team gymnast Nick Cramer was added to New Hampshire’s staff as an assistant coach. 

Davenport Named Alaska Assistant Coach

Katie Davenport was added to Alaska’s coaching staff as an assistant coach.

Training Updates

New Skills Spotted

  • Florida senior eMjae Frazier is training a Church to Pak combination on bars.
  • Oklahoma senior Ava Siegfeldt is training an Onodi to back handspring combination on beam. Sophomore classmate Elle Mueller is training a full-in on floor.

Rehab Progress

  • Utah State junior Nyla Morabito is tumbling after rupturing her right Achilles in March.

  • Former LSU gymnast Aleah Finnegan and former UCLA gymnast Emma Malabuyo will represent the Philippines at this year’s World Championships.
