Our recruit ratings make it easy to discover all-arounders who will lead their teams to NCAA success in the coming years, but event specialists play an important role on college teams too and these gymnasts may slip under the radar while being recruited. Each year we take the time to highlight uncommitted, three-star, and/or unrated gymnasts who excel on each event, and today’s article focuses on floor.
Class of 2025
Berlin Hall
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
College: Southern Utah
High Score: 9.85
Why She Stands Out: Hall is an energetic and engaging performer whose routine also includes strong tumbling. She has a fantastic Rudi to layout step-out combination with great height on the second skill.
Jaylyn Nagle
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
College: Uncommitted
Why She Stands Out: Nagle has absolutely gorgeous dance and movement quality that she pairs with the incredibly difficult opening skill of a punch tucked double front. Whichever team is lucky enough to pick her up will benefit from the addition of these attributes to their floor lineup.
Hayden Seymour
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
College: Illinois
High Score: 9.875
Why She Stands Out: While Seymour is strong in her dance and tumbling, her leaps are where she shines. She has the potential to be a star in the Illini lineup.
Natalie Siljander
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
College: Stanford
High Score: 9.8
Why She Stands Out: The national all-star champion on this event, Siljander’s presentation and movement quality on this event are exceptional. While she sometimes struggles with her front double full, her potential on floor is fantastic, and cleaning up that skill or replacing it would make her the complete package.
Class of 2026
Isabella Beach
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
College: Uncommitted
High Score: 9.925
Why She Stands Out: Training at Silvia’s, a gym known for producing excellent floor workers, Beach has both fantastic tumbling and excellent dance. For schools looking for someone with a strength on floor in this class, she’s a great option, so watch for her commitment.
Sydney Schultz
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
College: Uncommitted
High Score: 9.875
Why She Stands Out: Schultz is a standout floor worker in this class with especially strong tumbling. Another whose commitment should be eagerly awaited, expect her clean front double full to front tuck to be an excellent feature of a college lineup in the future.
Avery Tarico
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
College: Arizona
High Score: 9.925
Why She Stands Out: Tarico is an excellent dancer who performs an engaging floor routine. Committed to one of her local schools, Arizona, her routine will likely capture fans’ attention and become a favorite.
Class of 2027
Alyssa Guerrier-Calixte
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
College: Uncommitted
Why She Stands Out: Guerrier-Calixte performs clean, difficult tumbling with well-controlled landings. Her 3.5 turn is especially impressive. There are many great Canadians in this class, but Guerrier-Calixte’s floor definitely stands out.
Payton Jones
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
College: Uncommitted
High Score: 9.9
Why She Stands Out: While there are many standout moments in Jones’ Aly Raisman-tribute routine, it’s tough to beat her Rudi to sky-high layout step-out. She finished the season with three straight 9.8-plus scores, including state and regional titles, and there are surely more accolades to come in her future.
Taylor Noble
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
College: Uncommitted
High Score: 9.775
Why She Stands Out: Noble won a national title on vault this season, but don’t sleep on her potential on floor. Her combination of clean tumbling and excellent performance quality will translate well to high NCAA floor scores.
