Future College Gymnasts Set to Open U.S. Elite Season at 2022 Winter Classic

Ten future college gymnasts will make their 2022 elite debut at the Winter Classic next weekend in Frisco, Texas.

In the class of 2022, world championship competitor eMjae Frazier is a California signee, national team member Ciena Alipio will head to UCLA, Kaylen Morgan to Michigan and Skylar Draser to Florida.

In the class of 2023, national team members Zoe Miller and Konnor McClain, who also competed at the world championships last October, are committed to LSU. Additionally, Olympic Trial qualifier Addison Fatta is committed to Oklahoma, American Classic champion Skye Blakely to Florida and Karis German to Alabama.

Finally, in the class of 2024, Sydney Barros is committed to UCLA.

2021 junior U.S. championship medalists Katelyn Jong, Madray Johnson and Kaliya Lincoln will also begin their season at the Winter Classic.

Jayla Hang is scheduled to compete at both the Nastia Liukin Cup on Friday and the Winter Classic this weekend. 

The top three all-around finishers in each division will represent the United States at the 2022 DTB Pokol Mixed Cup and Team Challenge on March 18-20 in Stuttgart, Germany.
