Elite News
- Catch up on the dozens of past, present and future college gymnasts who have competed this summer at the American Classic, junior world championships, GK U.S. Classic and Pan American Games.
- Oklahoma ‘22 recruit Jordan Bowers has changed gyms.
- Ragan Smith confirmed her retirement from elite gymnastics; she will attend Oklahoma this fall.
- LSU ‘21 commit Olivia Dunne is taking a break from competition this summer due to injuries.
- Alyonna Shchennikova ruptured her Achilles tendon at June’s verification camp and will be out for the remainder of the season.
- This fall, Morgan Hurd (Florida ‘21) will appear alongside Russia’s Angelina Melnikova and China’s Chen Yile in the new Olympic Channel documentary series “All Around,” which will follow the three gymnasts in their quest for gold in Tokyo 2020.
- Hurd and fellow future Gator Riley McCusker both confirmed they will defer their college plans until after the Olympics.
- Incoming San Jose State freshman Emma Milne has qualified for the 2019 Mersin World Challenge Cup; donations toward her self-funded trip can be made here.
- Laney Madsen (UCLA ‘21) competed for Bulgaria at the 2019 European Games.
- Tan Sze En (Stanford ‘21) represented Singapore at the Asian Championships.
