Fantasy Central: Week 11

Fantasy Central: Week 11

It’s year four with Gymlytics fantasy college gymnastics in 2025! We all learned lessons when GymChem took up the helm and created her revamped game, and we’re ready for a fun new season.

Our weekly cadence will continue to match Gymlytics: The fantasy “week” begins with Friday meets, ends with any Thursday ones and trading happens every Monday via the waiver wire. You’ll find us here every Tuesday talking about “next week,” meaning the fantasy week starting that Friday.

This is your one-stop-shop for all things fantasy each week. We’ll be tracking injuries, noting byes and double headers, and giving you tips and tricks to put forward your best team possible.

Senior nights continue this week, the last one of the regular season (?!). If last weekend is any indication, scores will be loose. Senior nights include: Georgia, Florida, California, Utah, Michigan State, Minnesota, and California, among others. Remember that all NCGA programs are on a bye this week between their regional and national competitions.

Data Corner

Once again we have data editor Dara joining us for Fantasy Central each week. She’ll be breaking down the numbers for you with notes on routine hit rate, lineup appearance frequency, and breakout performances to keep an eye on.

Hit Rate and Lineup Frequency: Over the last 10 fantasy weeks (extending into last season), the following gymnasts have been some of the most valuable* on their respective events:

  • Vault: Kailin Chio, Leanne Wong, Jordan Bowers, Faith Torrez, Isabella Magnelli, Olivia Zsarmani, Nikki Smith, Makenzie Wilson, Natalie Martin, Lilly Hudson
  • Bars: Audrey Davis, Mara Titarsolej, Leanne Wong, Selena Harris-Miranda, Jordan Bowers, Amari Celestine, Faith Torrez, Emma Spence, Addison Fatta, Sage Kellerman
  • Beam: Isabella Magnelli, Kailin Chio, Joscelyn Roberson, Jordan Bowers, Emily Lee, Leanne Wong, Helen Hu, Mya Lauzon, Skyla Schulte, Ja’ Free Scott, Kara Eaker
  • Floor: Jordan Chiles, Mya Lauzon, Faith Torrez, Brooklyn Moors, Gabby Gladieux, Jordan Bowers, Lilly Hudson, Mya Hooten, Selena Harris-Miranda, Carly Bauman

*Based on a 10-player league, using high scores for multi-meet weekends. Top 50 scores including ties in each fantasy week were included at full value, the next 50 scores were included with a slight discount, and the remaining scores were ignored when calculating values.

Breakout Performances: Ohio State’s Kate Parks posted her first 9.900 on bars, improving on her previous career high by over a tenth. After hovering in the 9.7-plus range in her last four appearances, beam specialist Chesney Bennett notched her first 9.900. Minnesota freshman Sophie Swartzmiller made her competitive debut with a 9.875 on floor. Ashley Morgan, who has been in the vault and beam lineups for the Golden Flashes, scored a 9.875 on her first collegiate floor routine.

Starts & Sits for Week 11

This is the spot to find your solutions for those big bye weeks and advice on how to handle injuries, lineup changes, and those surprise breakout performances.

Vault: Ellie Lazzari has consistently competed every other week for Florida this season. Whether that’s an intentional plan due to injury management or not is unclear, but by the pattern, this week is an “off” week. That makes sense, too, assuming she’s in the ideal six to compete at SECs in two weeks.

Bars: Golden Bear Ondine Achampong has settled into her beam role; Cal posted her doing a full bar routine this week as well. It seems unlikely the team account would post it for no reason, so expect her to debut here soon. After an injury in late January, Marissa Neal made her triumphant return to Auburn’s beam lineup for a 9.875; she also competed her first college bar routine, in for Bryn Bartman. Expect Neal to get another try in this lineup this week.

Beam: Jamison Sears did a beam exhibition for Alabama this week; that is the Crimson Tide’s weakest event and one in which the lineup has shuffled a lot. She may perform a competition routine, though starting her would be a risk given how much this lineup has been in flux.

Floor: Avery Neff was heroically back in the all-around for Utah; expect her to remain on all four through the rest of the season. Jada Mangahas also returned to all four after a warmup injury to Isabella Kowan. She’s also a strong candidate to remain in each lineup. Danielle Sievers was back on floor, in place of Lily Pederson; it’s unlikely KJ Kindler brought Sievers back for just senior night, though she has chosen to run with mostly all-arounders this year; it’s hard to guess who gets the start next week, though it may be a case of choosing experience heading into the postseason.

Waiver Wire Wrap-up

Finally, we have a waiver wire in gymnastics! Who should you prioritize this week?

Vault: SEMO all-arounder Taylor Ingle has been incredibly consistent on vault since mid-January. If you need an auto-9.800 to round out your lineup here, she’s a strong option.

Bars: Halle Gregoire stepped in on bars and vault for an injury-plagued Arizona State; she performed well and could remain in this lineup the remainder of the season, making for a solid pickup.

Beam: Penn’s Mimi Fletcher is the real deal; pick her up if you need to bolster this lineup to hold strong through the end of the year. She competes bars, too.

Floor: Yale is having an outstanding season, in part due to Ella Tashjian. She can be a touch inconsistent, but floor is her best event. She has two 9.900s over the last month.
