Larissa Fontaine Endows Assistant Coaching Position at Stanford
Former Stanford gymnastics standout Larissa Fontaine and her husband Peter Langenfeld have endowed an assistant coaching position to help the program recruit and retain top coaching talent. Hallie Mosset, who competed for UCLA and is entering her third season on the Cardinal coaching staff, is the first Fontaine and Langenfeld Women’s Gymnastics Assistant Coach.

- Rutgers retained the firm Lowenstein Sandler, LLP to investigate complaints made by eight current and former Rutger gymnastics of a toxic environment created by head coach Umme Salim-Beasley.
- Former Central Michigan gymnast Dr. Morgan Byrd was announced as head coach of Wilberforce. Former Winona State gymnast Eboni Jackson was previously announced as head coach. Her current status on the coaching staff is unclear.
- JerQuavia Henderson’s return to Iowa gymnastics was profiled by the Daily Iowan.
- UCLA junior Jordan Chiles will be a presenter at the VMA Awards.
- Chiles also threw the first pitch at Friday’s New York Mets game. Prior to the game, Mets first baseman Pete Alonso signed a glove for her.
