Signing day for the class of 2023 has come and gone, which means we can now turn our attention to the class of 2024. So far there are about 100 verbal commitments in this class, so we can finally start to look at how the classes are shaping up as a whole and compare them against each other. Of course, these rankings will fluctuate a lot over the next year as more individuals verbally commit, so be sure to check out the current team rankings on our recruit ratings landing page.
Team rankings are calculated using a formula based on each committed recruit’s total points from our recruit ratings system. For athletes who did not receive a rating, their score points total is used instead. In order to maintain a balance between the quality and quantity of a class, higher point totals are weighted more heavily in our formula than lower point totals. Note that elites from earlier classes who have publicly announced Olympic deferrals are included in the class of 2024 for the purposes of this ranking.
