Reigning national champion Oklahoma sits atop the rankings at No. 1 with 47 first-place votes and 2519 total points. LSU, 2016’s runner-up is No. 2 (11 first-place votes, 2412 total points) and Alabama is No. 3 (5 first-place votes, 2336 total points). UCLA and Florida round out the top five.
