UCLA senior Jordan Chiles, LSU sophomore Kailin Chio, Stanford senior Anna Roberts, and Oklahoma senior Faith Torrez were named finalists for the Honda Sports Award, awarded annually to the best collegiate female athlete in 12 different sports, including gymnastics.
Two of the four finalist spots were awarded to the top all-arounder in the regular-season rankings by NQS, Chio, and the winner in the all-around at nationals, Torrez. Chiles and Roberts were selected by the coaches of the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA).
The Honda Award winner for gymnastics will become a finalist for the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the Class of 2026 Honda Cup, awarded to the best athlete out of the 12 individual sport winners.
