Welcome to Gill Coliseum on the campus of Oregon State in Corvallis. This session features a stacked field, with Alabama, Utah, Denver, and host Oregon State battling for two spots in Sunday’s regional final.
No. 5 Alabama enters as the favorite, with No. 12 Utah also in strong position to advance. But No. 23 Denver and No. 25 Oregon State are more than capable of shaking things up, making this one of the most intriguing matchups of the regional round.
Alabama remains one of the sport’s most storied programs, having won its regional 32 times in 44 appearances and advanced to nationals in 40 of those. The Crimson Tide finished just seven-tenths behind Florida at SECs and, notably, has yet to break 198 this season—a mark it may need to hit to feel fully secure.
Utah, similarly, is a perennial powerhouse—but arrives with more at stake. The Utes opened 2026 with uncharacteristic struggles but have since steadied. Still, avoiding a return to the mid-195 range that plagued them early will be critical. This meet could also serve as a preview of a potential head-to-head battle with Alabama for a nationals berth in the regional final—one that would either extend Utah’s streak of qualifying to every NCAA championship or bring that historic run to an end.
Denver and Oregon State cannot be overlooked. The Pioneers have shown both scoring potential and inconsistency, including a 195.175 in a recent meeting with Oregon State. The Beavers, meanwhile, posted a 196.925 in that same matchup and will look to capitalize on home advantage in Corvallis.
The meet, as all regionals sessions, will be streamed on ESPN+, and scores can be found on Virtius.
If you weren’t with me yesterday, here’s a recap of my view: vault landings are hidden behind the beam corral, and the same goes for bars being behind the floor corral.
It is LOUD.

AFTER ONE: Utah 49.350, Oregon 49.250, Alabama 49.175, Denver 48.925
Raise of hands, who had Oregon almost leading after the first rotation? Utah looked good on bars, Alabama gave away precious tenths with landings on vault. Denver fought off having to count a fall on beam. OSU is taking advantage of feeling good at home and that’s going to put the pressure on Utah and Alabama, especially.

Crabb (OSU): Y full ,slightly bent at the hips, hops.

AFTER TWO: Utah 98.700, Alabama 98.700, Denver 98.225, Oregon 98.100
Oregon just didn’t have the 10.000 vaults or the clean landings to keep the threatening momentum going for now. Utah and Alabama both shined on the respective events. Neither Alabama or Utah gave away too much that rotation. Denver was lights out on floor, but may not be able to catch up to the top two teams.
Rotation 3:
Hargraves (DU): Y full, biiiig step forward, not a ton of distance at all.

Curtis (UU): Double pike, lunges, leans back, steps. Dancing with the corral. Puinch front run into her leap series, love that. Almost sits down the front tuck in her last pass. Utah will want ot drop.
AFTER THREE: Utah 148.150, Alabama 147.875, Oregon 147.450, Denver 147.200
Alabama adds a clean and a hard fought beam rotation to its team score, but Utah went big on floor, pocketing several 9.900s or high, but the Crimson Tide only went as high as 9.850, something they can correct on floor, while Utah does work on vault. Oregon is the closest to breaking into the top two teams, but would need a beam rotation that’s nothing but fire to get the job done.
Rotation 4:
Winger (UU): Y 1.5, wanted the stick, taeks a step back.
Zirbes (UU): Y 1.5, small hop forward, good.

Kasparian (DU): Shy first hs. Pak looked good. Good turn on low. Dobule tuck, took a step, not sure she needed to.
Rorich (DU): Jaeger. Shy last hs. Dopbuel lay, hops in place. Denver having a solid bar rotation.
Brusch (DU): MAloney to pak, pak was streeetched.
Cooley (DU): Giant release on high, looked like a tkatchev when I looked over. Small hope forward on the double lay.
Reidenbach (DU): Jager. Bail to hs. Good last hs. Double lay, deeeep bend forward, may hae brushed a knee.
Werline (Boise): Last routine of the session, all eyes on her. MAloney to pak, a little archy, possibly some leg sep. STalder, fighters that hs over, double tuck, small foot shuffle. 9.750
Heather (OSU): Front toss to bhs swing, good. Swithc half to beat, good. Stand along split jump could have a little more etension. Sticks the piked gainer off the end, OSU on their feet.
Buckner (OSU): Hits the series, no issues. Split to stag ring, steady. Side aerial is floaty. The way she takes her time is an art. BHS lay 1.5, small, delicate step.
Cheek (OSU): Hits the series. Flairs out and kicsk the leg on her full turn. Switch to split, back leg keeping it from a full and true 180. BHS gainer lay full off side, sticks with staggered feet.
Fans booing the score. Not all gave her a 10.00 start.
Weaver (OSU): Smooooooooth wolf turn to start. This OSU lineup is UNBOTHERED. BHS LOSO, choreos the dropped the shoulder. Switch leap to split jump, back leg slightly slightly bent in both. Front aerial. RO 1.5 lay, FANTASTIC.
Letzsch (OSU): Front aerial to back tuck was a sloooow connection. Split jump to split ring, oh be STILL my HEART. Gainer lay full off side, sticks! Holds the stick for a few seconds before slauting, comes off emotional, smiling.

Moneymaker (Davis): Will be competing during Alabama floor anchor. Front kick over, pauses. Steps it back to repeat. Kick over to bhs. Split jump, stag ring series is lovely. Hops on the gainer full dismount. 9.700
LaCoursiere (UA): Satisfied for floor music? Yes. Please. Big double tuck, slippery lunge but handles it fine. Outstnading extension on leaps. Lay to rudi to stag, good! Doesn’t travel. Good!! Strong start.
Rybicki (UA): Double tuck, chest a touch low comapred to what we’ve seen today. Swtich half to popa, no notes. RO 1.5 to to front full, sits it down.
Matters (UA): Front through to double tuck. Switch side half to popa. Good height. Double pike.
Ra-Akbar (UA): Floats RO 2.5 to start. Her air awareness is a on point. Switch ring to switch half is nice. 1.5 to front lay, lunges to the side to avvoid an OOB like a pro. Wolf turn, good. Great!!
Sears (UA): Double lay to open. Swithc side to popa, brushes the rafters in the process. Front through to double tuck. Rightly finishes with a crown for choreo.
Gladieux (UA): FTDB, form in the air by way of feet and leg sep. Front lay, Rudi to split rebound.
FINAL: Utah 197.500, Alabama 197.225, Oregon 196.375, Denver 195.950
Oregon didn’t keep bringing the heat, so the top two-ranked teams, Utah and Alabama, will move on quite comfortably to the regional final taking place on Sunday. They’ll be joined by the top two teams in the evening session later today.
These times will likely go up against likely UCLA and Minnesota on Sunday, making this regional incredibly difficult to advance out of.
