LIVE BLOG: NCGA Nationals

Six teams are set to rumble for the 2026 NCGA national championship this afternoon at Cortland.

Oshkosh and Whitewater earned their spots through Western Regionals, while Brockport and Cortland qualified from the East. La Crosse and Eau Claire punched their tickets with the next-highest season averages nationally.

Reigning champion La Crosse returns to the big stage in a challenging spot against the dominant Oshkosh Titans. Though the Eagles have steadily improved this season, they trail Oshkosh in both NQS and season high. The Titans have had a standout year, making history with the first-ever 195.0 score by a Division III team. While Oshkosh aims to reclaim its national championship dynasty, La Crosse and Whitewater aren’t likely to make it easy. Brockport and Cortland also remain in contention, both strong fixtures at nationals in recent years.

A talented roster of individual competitors will also vie for event titles, each one as deserving as the next. For an in-depth preview of all the teams and individual contenders, check out our breakdown.

Video feed of vault and floor is here and bars and beam here. Scores can be found on Virtius.
