Here we go for this final Sunday showdown before conference championship weekend! Three EAGL teams face off in a pseudo-preview for the conference title, adding Maryland to round out the quad. This will be the second time this weekend that the Terps, Tigers, and Revolutionaries meet, offering possible rematch opportunities from Friday. With the postseason looming, teams are carefully balancing fatigue with the need to output defining performances.
Maryland enters as the favorite with its No. 28 national ranking. The Terps will use today to work out the final kinks and build confidence. If they can maintain their standard across all four events, bars and beam will set the tone for how the Terps could perform within the challenging Big Ten field and forthcoming regionals bracket.
Since the EAGL trio is on the outs for regionals as teams, the focus shifts to the run for the conference title. While Towson leads the pack, it has yet to truly put everything together. Doing so this weekend may grant the Tigers an edge to nab the title from the reigning Revolutionaries and defend against a surging New Hampshire. Temple comes off a season high earned last Saturday at Maryland, supported by its best beam showing this year and a solid bars rotation. Like the Tigers, the Owls are on the hunt for a cleanly hit meet. George Washington never quite found its groove this year, but putting up a confident and complete performance on senior night would be a statement sendoff and a welcome boost ahead of next week’s conference matchup.
The meet will be streamed on ESPN+, and scores can be found here.

AFTER ONE: Towson 49.000, Maryland 48.950, GW 48.775, Temple 48.625
Towson goes 49 on floor with Maryland hot on its heels. GW and Temple are not far behind. The Owls matched their season best bars score, highlighted by a huge 9.875 from Robyn Dunne — a personal best. The Revs featured a few impressively stuck vaults and had an overall clean rotation to kick off their senior night. The Terps’ Josephine Kogler shared in the highest score of the first rotation with a 9.875 on beam.
Rotation 2: Towson VT, George Washington UB, Temple BB, Maryland FX

AFTER TWO: Towson 98.200, Maryland 98.025, GW 97.650, Temple 97.275
Towson absolutely obliterated its vault rotation (in a good way), earning a new season best 49.200 and widening the gap ahead of the Terps. Isabella DeCroo led the charge with her 9.900, the score matched by Aine Reade anchoring for the Terps on floor and Lola Montevago over on bars for the Revs. Both the Terps and Revs fought back to erase a mid-lineup fall, and both succeeded. George Washington also posted a new season high on bars, going 48.875 to surpass their previous best by three tenths. It’s never too late in the season to post a high score, indeed.
Rotation 3: Maryland VT, Towson UB, George Washington BB, Temple FX
Kogler (MD): Stuck yfull, not too much distance. 9.800
Engelmayer (MD): Big hop back on the yfull. 9.675

Slocum (TU): 9.750
Greene (TU): Good distance on her pike jaeger to bail, double tuck with a step fwd. 9.800
Portillo (TU): Nice straddle jaeger, hits her feet on floor out of the Pak, good DLO, shuffle back. 9.375
Minervini (TU): Excellent tkatchev to Pak, hop fwd on her DLO, 9.850
Montevago (GW): Wobble on the bhs loso, saves it, 180 leaps, sticks her RO 1.5. 9.275, not sure what happened there, missed connection, possibly.

Peters (GW): Quick side aerial and comes off, side aerial BHS, stuck gainer pike. 9.275
Sheremeta (GW): Press mount, hits her bhs loso solidly, hip break on the side aerial, gainer tucked full. 9.650
Kiner (GW): Chest dips on straddle 1/4, front aerial to bhs, solid on the front toss, wobbles on the leap connection, literally the smallest foot movement on the gainer pike and works hard to hold it. 9.500
Kazmierski (GW): Straddle, straddle 3/4 small check, hip break on the bhs loso but holds on, RO 1.5 with a small hop fwd.

Budd (Temple): Rudi to two foot layout, big stag jump out, switch ring to switch half, good extension on those, FHS 2/1 hands slid a bit so she was underrotated, lunges back. 9.625
AFTER THREE: Maryland 146.975, Towson 146.775, Temple 145.750, GW 145.100
Maryland comes back and edges into the lead, using momentum from a slew of stuck vaults and mistakes from Towson to propel it into position. The Terps are on track for a very as-usual finish, given that they head their lowest-ranked event on bars. Still, the energy is moving in the right direction and they can make the most of it. Towson was forced to count a miss on bars, setting it back slightly but not impossibly. GW encountered issues on beam as well, fighting misses and wobbles abound. Temple showed out on floor and took advantage of the Revs’ missteps to slot into the third position.
Rotation 4: Temple VT, Maryland UB, Towson BB, George Washington FX
Best (Temple): Y full on tuck off, crunchy on the table. 9.650
Thomas (Temple): Yfull, centered and a hop back. 9.625
Johnson (Temple): Yfull, lots of height, hop back. 9.750
Harden (Temple): Yfull, small hop. Some arm bend on the table. 9.800
Rengifo (Temple): Nice power in the yfull, small hop. 9.850
Budd (Temple): Yfull, great block and I believe she gets the stick! Temple really bringing it on vault. 9.875
Saville (MD): Maloney to Pak, nice hs in the pirouette and on high, far DLO, step. 9.800
Bingham (MD): Short first hs, good height on the tkatchev, bail hs, whips the DLO and sticks it. 9.850
Ruffing (MD): Nice straddle jaeger to bail, gets the hs, hop on the DLO. 9.825
Reade (MD): release and bail, hop on the DLO. 9.775
Dennis (MD): Great height on her straddle jaeger right to bail, misses her toes for the dismount, comes off the bar. Goes again, toe pike half, big step fwd. 8.725
Komoroski (MD): Nice jaeger, fluid Pak, fights to stick the DLO, takes a small step back. 9.875
Duerre (TU): Bhs loso is good, comes off on her side aerial. 9.000
Belanovski (TU): Comes off on her front aerial, front aerial bhs series is solid. Clean leaps, does a switch 3/4. 9.225
Lindgren (TU): Bhs bhs loso, unproblematic. Switch to split is clean, RO 2/1, hops in place. Good finish with lots of pressure from the two falls ahead of her. 9.600
Minervini (TU): BHS side aerial, slow but flowed. Split to split 3/4 nice. Stuck gainer full. 9.750
Trotter (TU): Solid on the bhs loso, great extension on her split connection. Kickover to sit, sticks her dismount. 9.825
Portillo (TU): Hits her bhs loso, split to split ring is solid, bhs gainer full and sticks the landing.
Kazmierski (GW): Front lay to Rudi, nicely controlled landing. RO double tuck, bit of a bounce out but chest is up. 9.725
Tucker (GW): Punch 2/1, runs so much into that. 1.5 to front lay is good and right into the corner. Quick transition to a punch Rudi, a tad low. 9.725
Montevago (GW): Lands her first pass well, chest is up. 9.775
O’Rourke (GW): Front lay to Rudi, chest down ish. Clean Ro 1.5 to lay to finish. 9.800
Peters (GW): Punch Rudi, steps fwd out of it. 9.800
Sheremeta (GW): Pretty switch ring to switch ring half, seeing a lot of those today. FHS to Rudi, hangs in the air. 9.850
FINAL: Maryland 196.100, Towson 194.950, Temple 194.675, GW 194.050
And with that, the regular season wraps up for these four teams. Maryland finishes with the win and a 196 to boost its NQS going into the postseason. The three EAGL teams finish in order of ranking, so no real upsets to speak of as they gear up for the conference championship next weekend (Saturday at 5pm ET for all those interested!). The Revolutionaries experienced challenges throughout, though not unusual to this season. The Revs put up an energetic floor rotation to finish out the meet as the key to an emotional senior sendoff.
VT: DeCroo (Towson) – 9.900
UB: Montevago (George Washington) – 9.900
BB: Kogler (Maryland) – 9.875
FX: Reade (Maryland) – 9.900
