Happy Friday! We have officially made it to the end of the regular season *cries.* Tonight, Clemson will close out regulation at home, as they host BYU for senior night. The senior celebration will take place on the floor after the meet concludes, where the Tigers will honor their eight seniors.
BYU is coming off a solid second-place finish at the Utah tri-meet last weekend. The Cougars looked poised and steady as they put up some top scores. Kylie Eaquinto earned a career-high in the all-around after competing in it for only the third time this season. Earning a handful of 9.85s or better, the Cougars shined on beam, where they had three earn a first-place score amidst a six-way tie at the top of the podium. BYU also tied its season-high on bars and landed third and fifth on bars in the individual titles.
Clemson is returning home after a busy week of travel. After visiting Ann Arbor for a dual meet and Huntsville for the Elevate the State Invitational, the Tigers put up two of their best team road scores in program history. Sunday’s score marked the sixth consecutive team score of a 196.500 or better, which is a first for the Tigers. Brie Clark’s standout performance on floor earned her ACC Specialist of the Week, making it her third of the season.
The meet will be streamed on ACCNX at 6 p.m. ET, and scores can be found on Virtius.

Malewski (CU): Nice Shaposh to Pak. Slight form break on her last handstand. Blind full to double back, sticks it cold.
Jorgensen (BYU): Bhs half onto the table to a pike half off, this is such a fun vault to see in NCAA! 9.85
Cesario (CU): Solid Tkatchev to bail. Small leg separation in her double layout but I don’t think it was that noticeable, takes a slight hop on the landing.
Eaquinto (BYU): Sticks the Yurchenko full, makes it look easy. 9.90

Andersen-Broekman (BYU): Punch front 2.5 to straddle jump, love the amplitude on this. Nice lines and rise on her leaps. Studders a little coming out of the front layout on the last pass, a clean and fun pass overall. 9.85

Eaquinto (BYU): Solid double pike to open. Clean wolf jump combo, but could’ve had a little more amplitude. Finishes with a nicely controlled front twisting pass. 9.875
Walsh (CU): Bhs loso, off-center on the takeoff, but saves it well. Front toss to beat jump, small balance check. Almost sticks the dismount. 9.825
Kirkham (BYU): So much power in her double pike, takes a huge step back and almost goes out of bounds. Switch half to split full, not quite to 180, but her lines are so pretty. Couldn’t see her last pass as the ESPN camera was in my way, but from the landing it looked like she might have fallen on the pass. 8.35
