LIVE BLOG: UCLA Big Four

We kick off Big Fours out west with UCLA hosting Iowa, Ohio State, and Maryland.

UCLA hasn’t lost a conference meet in 2026 and is looking to clinch its second regular-season title. Jordan Chiles has dominated the conference, winning eight consecutive Big Ten Gymnast of the Week awards and posting 10.0 scores in five of the last six weeks.  She leads the nation on both floor and in the all-around. Ciena Alipio has become a triple threat this season, achieving 9.950 or better on bars, beam, and floor. She is ranked third in the nation on beam. The Bruins rank in the Top 10 on all four events.

Iowa has steadily improved throughout the season, eclipsing 197 in two of the last three meets, including a program record 197.225 against Nebraska three weeks ago.  The Hawkeyes are led by all-arounders Aurelie Tran, ninth in the nation after posting a career high 39.550 against Penn State, and Sophie Schriever, ranked twelfth with four consecutive 39.375s or better.

Ohio State posted a 196.850, its second-highest score, at Michigan State. The Buckeyes are led by No. 18 all-arounder Tori Vetter, who earned her fifth title this season against the Spartans with a 39.475, including 9.925 on beam and 9.900 on floor. JJ Coleman, ninth nationally on the floor, has scored 9.900 or better on the event in all but one meet.

Maryland is coming off a narrow comeback victory against Nebraska and currently ranks No. 25. The Terps are led by Sophomore Aine Reade, who has two all-around titles and a season high of 39.350. Madeline Komoroski has two consecutive 9.900s on floor, and Rayna Engelmayer posted a season high 9.900 on vault. The team has surpassed 196 in four of its last five meets.

This meet will be streamed on FS1 at 10 p.m. ET, and scores can be found on Virtius
