Tonight, Stegeman Coliseum hosts a top-10 showdown in one of college gymnastics’ most storied rivalries, as Georgia welcomes Florida for its “Go Country” night. The first 250 students and children under 12 will receive a GymDogs cowboy hat, adding to what is expected to be a lively, sold-out atmosphere. Georgia leads the all-time series 90-68-1, but has not defeated Florida at home since 2016, and Florida has won the last nine meetings. With deep history and postseason implications, this matchup promises plenty of drama.
Florida enters looking to rebound after a tough home loss to Oklahoma. The defeat snapped Florida’s home winning streak, which dated to Jan. 26, 2024, and marked the program’s first consecutive losses since 2006. Despite counting mistakes on vault, Florida remained strong elsewhere, posting multiple 9.9-plus scores across the remaining events. The Gators also recorded the nation’s highest bars score of the season with a 49.650, led by Riley McCusker, Kayla DiCello, and Skye Blakely. Additional key routines from Selena Harris-Miranda, Danie Ferris, and Anya Pilgrim will be critical as Florida looks to return to form.
Georgia, meanwhile, is coming off an impressive road performance at the Metroplex Challenge, where it posted a season-best away score of 197.650. The team also recorded a season high on bars with a 49.475, with Csenge Bácskay and Lily Smith sharing the event title with matching 9.950s. Additional season highs and 9.9-plus routines from Nyla Aquino, Kelise Woolford, Ady Wahl, and CaMarah Williams highlight Georgia’s growing momentum as it looks to snap Florida’s winning streak in the rivalry.
The meet will be streamed on the SEC Network at 6 p.m. ET. Scores can be found on Virtius.

Williams (UGA): Yurchenko 1.5, almost gets the stick but anticipates the landing a bit and steps back.
Harris-Miranda (UF): Huge Tkatchev to open. Solid bail. Super aggressive in her swing. Drills her double layout into the mat for the stick.
Backsay (UGA): Sticks her Yurchenko 1.5, my favorite way to make a season debut!
Draser (UF): A last-minute lineup change for the Gators. Solid Shaposh to Pak. Almost sticks the dismount but takes just a small hop.
AFTER ONE: Florida 49.425, Georgia 49.375
With so many sticks in the first rotation, it seems like both teams have worked out any landing kinks they might have. It’s a close one after one, let’s see what the rest of the meet holds!
Rotation 2: Florida VT, Georgia UB
Draser (UF): Yurchenko 1.5, just misses the stick with the tiniest of hops ever.
Bacskay (UGA): Solid Shaposh to Pak, just a small knee bend on the flight to the low bar. Blind full to double back, sticks it cold.
Pilgrim (UF): Solid Yurchenko 1.5, from my angle it looked like a stick, but I’m not sure.
Snyder (UGA): Huge piked Jaeger to bail. Love how quick she is on the bar. Full-twisting double back, takes a small hop.
DiCello (UF): Yurchenko 1.5, small hop in place but so pretty in the air.
Woolford (UGA): Super floaty Pak with a pretty swing out of it. Solid Van Leeuwan. Stalder to double back, sticks it cold.
Blakely (UF): Clean Yurchenko full, hops backwards just a little.
Scott (UGA): Loses sight of the bar on her Pak and grabs it crooked. I truly do not know how she saved that, queen behavior honestly. Finishes strong with a stuck dismount.
Ferris (UF): Solid Yurchenko 1.5, small hop.
Reingold (UGA): Gets stuck in the first handstand but keeps it going. Beautiful release combo. Pretty swing throughout. Sticks the dismount cold.
Harris-Miranda (UF): A stuck Yurchenko 1.5 to close out vault for the night.

Frazier (UF): Huge height in her double layout. Switch ring to split full, pretty lines. Front through to double back, great rise and control.
Scott (UGA): Solid triple series, just a small balance check. Nice front aerial. Switch leap split jump, pretty lines. There’s the iconic moonwalk, this sold-out crowd is electric after it. Takes a small hop forward after her dismount, but solid overall.
Blakely (UF): HUGE double Arabian to open. Switch leap full to split half, 10/10 no notes from me, it was perfect. Pretty front twisting pass, a little off to the side on the landing and steps to the side.
Williams (UGA): Bhs to a two-footed layout, gets a bit of a rebound and almost comes off the beam. After a good save, she does a pretty straddle jump combo. Solid full turn. Almost gets the stick on the front gainer pike.
Harris-Miranda (UF): Nice and high full-in, underrotates is a bit and lands with her chest forward. She’s such a fun gymnast to watch. Rudi combination to close out her routine, great control on her landing.
Smith (UGA): Goes for her flight series and lands with her chest a smidge too far down, does the front aerial again. Beautiful into the back tuck. Pretty full turn. Such precision in her lines and extension in her leaps. Bhs side gainer full, stuck.
Clark (UF): She has so much power in her double layout that she almost goes out of bounds, but keeps it in. Front through to double back, great height and landing. Huge rise in her leaps, she’s so floaty on the floor.
