Fantasy Central: Week 10

Fantasy Central: Week 10

It’s year four with Gymlytics fantasy college gymnastics in 2025! We all learned lessons when GymChem took up the helm and created her revamped game, and we’re ready for a fun new season.

Our weekly cadence will continue to match Gymlytics: The fantasy “week” begins with Friday meets, ends with any Thursday ones and trading happens every Monday via the waiver wire. You’ll find us here every Tuesday talking about “next week,” meaning the fantasy week starting that Friday.

This is your one-stop-shop for all things fantasy each week. We’ll be tracking injuries, noting byes and double headers, and giving you tips and tricks to put forward your best team possible.

With Big Fours behind us, this week the Big Ten moves into some fun out of conference meets. Michigan heads to Oklahoma, Ohio State goes to N.C. State, Utah will be at Washington, Stanford goes south to UCLA, and Michigan State hits up Elevate in Alabama.

Speaking of, there are lots of NQS implications on the line as Alabama, California, Michigan State, and North Carolina compete on podium in Huntsville, Alabama. NCGA regionals are also this week, and we’re heading into senior night season. Notably, UCLA, LSU, Alabama, and Oklahoma all have senior nights this weekend.

Data Corner

Once again we have data editor Dara joining us for Fantasy Central each week. She’ll be breaking down the numbers for you with notes on routine hit rate, lineup appearance frequency, and breakout performances to keep an eye on.

Hit Rate and Lineup Frequency: Over the last 10 fantasy weeks (extending into last season), the following gymnasts have been some of the most valuable* on their respective events:

  • Vault: Faith Torrez, Selena Harris-Miranda, Kailin Chio, Leanne Wong, Olivia Zsarmani, Jordan Bowers, Natalie Martin, eMjae Frazier, Nikki Smith, Isabella Magnelli
  • Bars: Leanne Wong, Amari Celestine, Audrey Davis, Mara Titarsolej, Mya Lauzon, Addison Fatta, Selena Harris-Miranda, Sage Kellerman, Faith Torrez, Alex Irvine
  • Beam: Isabella Magnelli, Kailin Chio, Joscelyn Roberson, Kara Eaker, Jordan Bowers, Emily Lee, Sophia McClelland, Gwen Fink, Jade Carey, Helen Hu
  • Floor: Jordan Chiles, Mya Lauzon, Brooklyn Moors, Faith Torrez, Gabby Gladieux, Jordan Bowers, Lilly Hudson, Selena Harris-Miranda, Mya Hooten, Carly Bauman

*Based on a 10-player league, using high scores for multi-meet weekends. Top 50 scores including ties in each fantasy week were included at full value, the next 50 scores were included with a slight discount, and the remaining scores were ignored when calculating values.

Breakout Performances: Freshman Sophia Bell made a triumphant return to Auburn’s vault lineup after two weeks away, posting her first 9.900 on the event. Beam specialist Delaney McMahon notched a 9.925 this weekend for Ball State, improving on her previous career high by a tenth. Sophomores Leah Miller and Kylie Coen made their LSU floor debuts, scoring 9.875 and 9.900, respectively. Florida’s Gabby Disidore also earned a 9.900 in her first collegiate floor routine.

Starts & Sits for Week 10

This is the spot to find your solutions for those big bye weeks and advice on how to handle injuries, lineup changes, and those surprise breakout performances.

Vault: Kaliya Lincoln sat out for the Tigers in LSU’s 198 romp at Purple & Gold. It seems likely it was rest, but that is purely speculation. Put her lineups at your own risk.

Bars: Sadie Jane Berry has been back on bars for two weeks now for the GymDogs, with successful scores; it seems like she’s back in this lineup for good, although Georgia has not been afraid to play with its top six this year, so proceed with caution.

Beam: Never fear: Jade Carey was busy hosting her signature invitational last week, so she should be back in lineups this weekend. Alyssa Arana made a beam debut for the suddenly short-handed Gators this week; her solid 9.825 should give her another go.

Floor: According to the broadcast, Kalea McElligot was just resting for Penn State; she has carried a lot of weight for the Nittany Lions in this injury-plagued season, and a little rest before the postseason makes sense. Unfortunately, the Huskers might be without Halle Rourke, who had to stop mid floor routine. Hold her out of lineups until we know more. Ly Bui was slated for floor for Florida, but ended up only vaulting, while Gabby Disidore got the final call and put up a 9.900. The Gators are shuffling lineups to cover injuries, so expect things to fluctuate for the next two weeks before the postseason.

Waiver Wire Wrap-up

Finally, we have a waiver wire in gymnastics! Who should you prioritize this week?

Vault: North Carolina’s Paige Prejean has two strong vaults under her belt over the last two weeks. Utah State’s Nyla Morabito is a 9.800 machine; if your lineup lacks steadiness, she’s a strong option who will also pull in a strong floor number.

Bars: Caroline Leonard has put up two successful bar routines for Auburn as the Tigers cover injuries; she’s a solid pickup. BYU’s Addison Glazier had a rough first week that pulls her bars average down, but she has a number of 9.8-plus scores and a 9.875 high—and hasn’t had a second miss.

Beam: Denver’s Ashley Gallen has back-to-back 9.825-plus numbers after stepping into this lineup. Southern Utah’s Rylee Miller has been a steady presence on beam; if you need another mid-9.8 in your lineup, she’s your pickup.

Floor: Leah Miller stepped into floor for LSU, which rested several gymnasts at Purple & Gold; she put up a 9.875 and seems to be the seventh routine up; she would be a risky pickup since she’s not in the top lineup, but if you need a backup, she’s an intriguing option. Yale’s Ella Tashjian leads the GEC on floor with a 9.828 average and 9.900 high.
