LIVE BLOG: No. 16 Stanford at No. 29 Clemson

Happy Sunday from Littlejohn Coliseum! We’ve got another exciting ACC showdown this afternoon as the Stanford Cardinal take on the Clemson Tigers. It’s Youth Day here in Clemson, so expect a lively crowd full of young fans cheering on women’s gymnastics.

Stanford is riding high after a win against Southern Utah, where the Cardinal secured their second-best road score of the season. Anna Roberts claimed the vault title, helping the team post its second-highest vault total of the year. Brenna Neault had a standout performance, earning titles on bars and in the all-around, while Alana Walker capped off the meet with her first-ever collegiate event title by taking home the floor crown.

Clemson, meanwhile, is coming off its second-highest score of the season despite a narrow loss to N.C. State. Madison Minner and Eve Jackson tied for second on vault with matching 9.825s, while Jackson also tied with Hannah Clark for third on bars, again with 9.825s. The Tigers closed out strong with standout routines from Sierra Church on beam and Brie Clark on floor, both of whom delivered clutch performances.

With both teams carrying momentum into today’s meet, expect a close contest and plenty of energy in the arena!
