Brockport gymnast raising her arms in a salute after her routine

LIVE BLOG: No. 79 Utica at No. 61 Brockport

This Friday, Brockport’s Golden Eagles will host the Utica Pioneers in what promises to be an exciting matchup. The two teams recently faced off at the Empire State Classic, where the Golden Eagles came out on top. While Brockport enters as the clear favorite, this meet presents a valuable opportunity for the Pioneers to secure a strong road score to boost their SAS.

The meet will also serve as Brockport’s senior night, a special occasion to honor the team’s seniors and celebrate their contributions to the program.

Brockport has solidified its reputation as the team to beat in the East but will need to continue building its team scores to stay competitive with top programs from the West. Meanwhile, Utica is working to further establish itself as a rising force in the NCGA-East. With just two regular-season meets left in the DIII season, the pressure is on for teams to make their final statements before championship season begins.
