It’s year four with Gymlytics fantasy college gymnastics in 2025! We all learned lessons when GymChem took up the helm and created her revamped game, and we’re ready for a fun new season.
Our weekly cadence will continue to match Gymlytics: The fantasy “week” begins with Friday meets, ends with any Thursday ones and trading happens every Monday via the waiver wire. You’ll find us here every Tuesday talking about “next week,” meaning the fantasy week starting that Friday.
This is your one-stop-shop for all things fantasy each week. We’ll be tracking injuries, noting byes and double headers, and giving you tips and tricks to put forward your best team possible.
Well, the 10s have begun to 10! Scoring felt much more like seasons of late last week. Once the bandaid is ripped off, it tends to stay off in scoring, so expect things to stay wild from here on out.
There are some big, newly in-conference duals this weekend: Oklahoma hosts Forida, and Michigan hosts UCLA. Both of those contests should be exciting and could be loosely scored. The gymnastics Iron Bowl is also this week with Alabama hosting Auburn.
The Sooners are on a double, and the second meet is a podium meet with North Carolina. Expect lineups at this one to be a little experimental, testing out some new routines.

Data Corner
Once again we have data editor Dara joining us for Fantasy Central each week. She’ll be breaking down the numbers for you with notes on routine hit rate, lineup appearance frequency, and breakout performances to keep an eye on.
Hit Rate and Lineup Frequency: Over the last 10 fantasy weeks (extending into last season), the following gymnasts have been some of the most valuable* on their respective events:
- Vault: Jocelyn Moore, Mya Hooten, Makenna Smith, Mya Lauzon, Amari Drayton, Jade Carey, Ella Zirbes, Sarah Moraw, Amari Celestine, Isabella Magnelli
- Bars: Grace McCallum, Audrey Davis, Jade Carey, Jordyn Lyden, Jordan Bowers, Madelyn Williams, eMjae Frazier, Ella Cesario, Madison Ulrich, Emma Spence
- Beam: Jade Carey, Jordan Bowers, Audrey Davis, Chloe Negrete, Madelyn Williams, Gabby McLaughlin, Sophia McClelland, Emma Malabuyo, Aleah Finnegan, Isabella Magnelli
- Floor: Faith Torrez, Mya Lauzon, Jordan Bowers, Carly Bauman, Sophia Groth, Frankie Price, Gabby Gladieux, Brooklyn Moors, Jocelyn Moore, Leah Smith
*Based on a 10-player league, using high scores for multi-meet weekends. Top 50 scores including ties in each fantasy week were included at full value, the next 50 scores were included with a slight discount, and remaining scores were ignored when calculating values.
Breakout Performances: Junior Miki Aderinto made her collegiate bar debut for the Golden Bears, posting a 9.900 on Friday. Illinois freshman Marly Esteves made a splash in her collegiate floor debut, scoring a 9.925. Zoe Johnson notched a 9.900 on floor in her collegiate debut for the Red Rocks.
Starts & Sits for Week 8
This is the spot to find your solutions for those big bye weeks and advice on how to handle injuries, lineup changes, and those surprise breakout performances.
Vault: Emily Lee skipped vault for the Bruins, and Riley Jenkins took the spot. They both have 9.800 as their recent score, so it’s hard to guess who gets the spot this week at Michigan.
Bars: Minnesota’s bar lineup has been in flux. It seems likely, purely based on scoring potential, that Seria Johnson might get another chance in the top six soon.
Beam: Payton Harris was still out this week and not dressed out but was also not on crutches, so whatever injury she’s working through seems to be improving. Ondine Achampong was projected to join the beam lineup for Cal’s next home meet…which is this weekend!
Floor: Newly healthy Suki Pfister warmed up a floor dance-through. It’s possible she’ll compete here in the coming weeks. There is speculation that Leah Smith’s injury is severe since teammates mentioned dedicating their meet to her; this is purely an assumption, though, so proceed with caution.
Waiver Wire Wrap-up
Finally, we have a waiver wire in gymnastics! Who should you prioritize this week? Since Fantasy Central comes out on Tuesdays, keep in mind that these tips are catered toward next week.
Vault: Alabama freshman Kylee Kvamme reappeared in lineups this week; if someone in your league dropped her while she was out, she’s a strong pickup option. Olivia Buckner was the next routine up for Oregon State, filling Karlie Chavez’s lineup spot. She put up a solid 9.750.
Bars: Miki Aderinto popped into Cal’s bar lineup for a casual 9.900; grab her if you can! It’s possible we’ll see Hannah Scheible debut on podium in the Sooners’ second outing of the weekend. Annie Riegert now has two solid bar routines to her name. Audrey Sanger got a go in the Michigan bar lineup and put up a solid routine; we might see her in this lineup again.
Beam: Washington posted a photo including Deiah Moody on beam. She hasn’t competed yet this year but might be on her way into the lineup. Lyden Saltness, who has been in a boot, competed beam for Illinois; given the injury, she’s a risky pickup, but she has high-scoring potential.
Floor: Ohio State’s Mallory Gregory popped back into the floor lineup this week, her first competition routine this year. We saw Zoe Johnson make her debut here for the Utes.
