It’s another SEC showdown coming to you live from Bud Walton Arena, where Arkansas will host the Gators. Florida comes into the competition riding high after defeating Utah and West Virginia on the road. Just two weeks ago, the Gators became the first team in the country to surpass the 198-mark this season, and they’ll be aiming for another high score tonight. With momentum on their side, Florida will look to deliver a consistent floor rotation to secure an NQS-worthy away score. While their vault lineup has been solid, boasting a full set of 10.0 start values, floor has been a bit inconsistent this season. Keep an eye on freshman Ly Bui, who has posted back-to-back 9.925s on vault in her last two meets.
Arkansas, meanwhile, is looking to rebound after illness struck the team last week, leading to a sub-196 performance at Oklahoma. However, their upset win over LSU earlier this season proves that the Gymbacks can compete with the best in the SEC and the nation. With the advantage of a home crowd tonight, expect Arkansas to put on a strong showing, especially in the final rotation on floor.
