LIVE BLOG: No. 56 Sacramento State and No. 37 Southern Utah at No. 33 Boise State

Sacramento State is having its best season in years, but it would take a lot for the Hornets to contend in what looks like a battle between two teams contending for regionals. Southern Utah has been great so far in February and should pose a real challenge to Boise State, but it’s difficult for anyone to close against Boise’s great floor rotation at home.

On the NQS front, Boise State doesn’t yet have its requisite six scores but will after this meet. Southern Utah has a tantalizing 194.000 to drop; getting that off the books before the inaugural NQS rankings would be great for the Thunderbirds. Sacramento State has somewhat less upside, but its drop score is 193.125.
