Projected Individual Qualifiers for the 2022 National Championships

The way individuals qualify to nationals is complicated and difficult to understand. So we did the hard part for you and figured out which individuals are projected to advance based on Friday’s scores and Saturday’s team results.

Individual tie breakers look first at the average of all four judges’ scores, then at the head judges’ score on the event, then at NQS if things are still tied.

Note that all information presented below is unofficial until confirmed by the NCAA and/or the teams and regional organizers.

Auburn

Teams: Auburn, Florida
AA: Raena Worley, Kentucky
VT: Elexis Edwards, Ohio State
UB: Cally Nixon, Kentucky
BB: Abbie Thompson, Denver
FX: Hailey Davis, Kentucky

Notes:

  • Nixon wins the tie break by counting all four scores
  • Thompson wins the tie break by counting all four scores
  • Davis wins the tie break by counting all four scores

Norman

Teams: Oklahoma, Minnesota
AA: Kennedy Hambrick, Arkansas
VT: Gayla Griswold, Lindenwood
UB: Sarah Shaffer, Arkansas
BB: Sirena Linton, Arizona
FX: Jaye Mack, Illinois State

Raleigh

Teams: Michigan, Missouri
AA: Norah Flatley, UCLA
VT: Kiya Johnson, LSU
UB: Jordan Chiles, UCLA
BB: Adeline Kenlin, Iowa
FX: Jordan Chiles, UCLA
