Arkansas has updated its schedule to reflect the 2016 season. The Razorbacks’ slate of opponents includes seven teams that competed at the 2015 NCAA championships, four of which made it to team finals.
The team will begin its 2016 campaign abroad at the Cancun Classic, facing off against two Big 10 teams with Iowa and Michigan. The competition will take place on the second day of the new year. Next, the Razorbacks have a double-feature weekend with Georgia coming in on Friday, Jan. 15 and Oklahoma visiting two days later on Sunday. The team travels to Alabama then back home again to face Auburn the next two weeks.
The team takes to the road for three straight weeks, starting the trip off with LSU followed by a visit to the home of the three-time national champion Florida Gators on Feb. 12. The Razorbacks wrap up at Maryland on either Friday or Saturday, depending on the soon-to-be-released Big 10 basketball schedule.
Then it’s back home Feb. 26 to host Kentucky. The season wraps up at Missouri before a final home meet against Utah State on March 11 before heading into the postseason with the SEC Championship, NCAA regionals and potentially nationals at the end of April.
