It’s year four with Gymlytics fantasy college gymnastics in 2025! We all learned lessons when GymChem took up the helm and created her revamped game, and we’re ready for a fun new season.
Our weekly cadence will continue to match Gymlytics: The fantasy “week” begins with Friday meets, ends with any Thursday ones and trading happens every Monday via the waiver wire. You’ll find us here every Tuesday talking about “next week,” meaning the fantasy week starting that Friday.
This is your one-stop-shop for all things fantasy each week. We’ll be tracking injuries, noting byes and double headers, and giving you tips and tricks to put forward your best team possible.
It was a rough one out there. There were so many injuries this week, but we also saw a few key gymnasts back in lineups for the first time (Adeline Kenlin! KJ Johnson!), making it not quite as bleak. We’re in the meat of the regular season, with in-conference duals piled high for the next few weeks. All of Florida, LSU, and UCLA are on the road this week, but Oklahoma and Michigan State might get some home-floor bumps.
Also, a mia culpa. If you read last week’s FC and made hard decisions about Kara Eaker just to see her take to the beam this week, sorry! It’s always a good reminder that patience is a virtue in fantasy sports.

*Based on a 10-player league, using high scores for multi-meet weekends. Top 50 scores including ties in each fantasy week were included at full value, the next 50 scores were included with a slight discount, and remaining scores were ignored when calculating values.
Breakout Performances: In just her second vault back after nearly two years, Georgia junior Nicole King scored a career-high 9.875 on her Yurchenko one and a half on Friday, good for second against Alabama. Freshman Ui Soma posted a 9.925 in the bars anchor spot for Stanford. This was just her second performance on the event. Amy Doyle notched her first 9.900 for her bar routine at UCLA, following up her event debut of 9.850 last week. Kara Eaker made her competitive debut on beam for the GymDogs, scoring a 9.925 in her long-awaited return. California senior Abbey Scanlon made her collegiate debut on beam with a 9.950, which tied for the highest score of the night and won her the event title outright at N.C. State. A beam specialist in her freshman year, Brynlee Anderson has added floor this season and has been hot lately, scoring a 9.825 last week and a 9.900 on Friday.
Starts & Sits for Week 6
This is the spot to find your solutions for those big bye weeks and advice on how to handle injuries, lineup changes, and those surprise breakout performances.
Vault: Whatever kept Olivia Zsarmani out last week seems to be fully resolved. Danie Ferris was back on vault for the Gators this week. Florida still seems to be finessing that lineup, but Ferris has made a solid case for herself to remain. Eva Volpe was MIA for the Hawkeyes, with no word on her status. Put her in lineups with caution this week. Given the number of illnesses going around, it seems fair to make that assumption first.
Bars: Jordan Chiles was extremely sick last week; it obviously didn’t show on floor (her own Jordan flu game if you will) but did sneak in on bars. Don’t be shocked if illness ripples through the Bruins this coming week; a 104 fever is extreme. Katelyn Rosen was out this week; her performances have been a little all over the place, and perhaps a break to regain her confidence will do her well. She’s a tentative yes for this lineup, if you can stomach a zero if she sits again this week. According to the broadcast, Lali Dekanoidze was sick this week; we can assume she’ll be back for the Tar Heels.
Beam: Don’t fret about Addison Lawrence; she didn’t travel with Missouri this week due to illness. It’s likely we’ll see her this week. Lana Navarro‘s absence for Washington appears to be over; she competed bars and beam this week.
Floor: Payton Harris was missing again for the Buckeyes. Given that this was a big rivalry meet at Michigan, it seems like she would’ve competed if she were able. Perhaps illness hit Ohio State as well? Or her start-of-the-season injury flared up again? Sophia Groth should be available this weekend.
Waiver Wire Wrap-up
Finally, we have a waiver wire in gymnastics! Who should you prioritize this week? Since Fantasy Central comes out on Tuesdays, keep in mind that these tips are catered toward next week.
Vault: Riley Jenkins made her debut for the Bruins for a 9.850 and could be a solid addition to a fantasy squad. BYU’s Deb Silva seems to have found her footing after an up-and-down start. She has back-to-back scores of 9.800-plus.
Bars: Golden Bear Annalise Newman-Achee made her bars debut for a 9.825. Aggie Dani Kirstine has been in this lineup the past two weeks for a 9.800 and 9.900.
Beam: Abbey Scanlon popped into this lineup for Jordan Kane, who was out with an unspecified injury, and secured a 9.950 in her collegiate debut. Adeline Kenlin‘s knee injury can’t keep her out of the beam lineup; she’s back and scored a 9.875.
Floor: Alyssa Kramer rejoined this lineup at Illinois and nabbed a 9.900. With the recent injuries to both Jessica Johansson and Amani Herring, it seems fair to assume she’ll remain in. Gabrielle Dildy is having a year for Rutgers; she has steadily put up solid numbers on beam and floor, with a 9.900 on the latter last week.
