Gymnastics fans love leotards—it’s just a fact. We love seeing new designs, creating our own, and especially judging them. That’s why we’re back for another season of leotard rankings!
With so many new leotards debuting this weekend, we decided to split this week’s rankings into three parts: NCGA nationals designs (find the rankings here), white (or mostly white) conference championship designs (see our thoughts here), and multi-colored conference championship designs (you’re in the right place!).
Each week, we analyze new designs to find our favorites. Leos can earn up to three points for design; up to two points for construction, which includes fabric, fit, and sparkle; up to one point each for school/theme spirit and creativity; and up to three points for overall appearance. This week, Aaron, Allison, and Savanna are joining editor-in-chief Elizabeth for judging.
Don’t agree with our ranking? Make your opinion heard by voting in the fan poll at the end of the article each week or by sharing your thoughts on social media!

This is so fun and so San Jose. I love the pattern on the body, the Spartan head on the hip, and the sparkles accentuating it all. I also like the simple strappy back. I would have liked this even better with blue versus black, though.
Aaron: 8.400
Design 2.5/3, Construction 1.4/2, School/Theme Spirit 1/1, Creativity 1/1, Overall Appearance 2.5/3
I really like this leotard! The design in the front is reminiscent of the mascot’s helmet, and it looks sharp and fierce. The black and yellow complement each other well, and it’s nice to see San Jose State deviate from the blue it normally pairs yellow with.
Allison: 7.500
Design 2.2/3, Construction 1.5/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.8/1, Creativity 0.8/1, Overall Appearance 2.2/3
It is fierce, it is bright, and it would be easy to overdo it with the rhinestones since the yellow is so vibrant against the black—but nevertheless it’s a delight. I wish more teams had a leo like this in their arsenal.
Savanna: 9.000
Design 2.7/3, Construction 1.8/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.9/1, Creativity 0.8/1, Overall Appearance 2.8/3
This is a winner for me! I love how fierce it is, and I can immediately tell it’s supposed to represent the Spartans. I don’t particularly like the thick yellow line going straight across the bottom—I would’ve liked to see it shaped more like a V—but this is a fantastic leotard for San Jose State!

I have loved every single Maryland flag pride leotard the Terps have ever debuted, and this one may be my favorite of all. The very simple base really allows the rhinestone flag design to pop yet also not be too much. The design is also immediately recognizable, which is a feat in and of itself.
Aaron: 5.700
Design 1.5/3, Construction 1/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.6/1, Creativity 1/1, Overall Appearance 1.6/3
I don’t hate this leotard, but I also don’t love it. It reminds me of a leotard that Jordan Chiles wore during the 2024 elite season, and I wasn’t a big fan of that one either.
Allison: 8.800
Design 2.6/3, Construction 1.7/2, School/Theme Spirit 1.0/1, Creativity 1.0/1, Overall Appearance 2.5/3
OK, Maryland, alright, Maryland. This is a fabulous addition to the Terps’ leo collection. We all know I’m a sucker for a black leo, but then the mesh, the shining rhinestones in the colors of the flag, andMaryland down the sleeve? That is chef’s kiss.
Savanna: 8.100
Design 2.3/3, Construction 1.3/2, School/Theme Spirit 1.0/1, Creativity 1.0/1, Overall Appearance 2.5/3
I am loving this upgraded Maryland flag leotard design! The mix of different-colored rhinestones really allows the flag design to stand out, although part of me wishes the sleeves weren’t mesh. I would’ve preferred a solid fabric, but this is a really pretty design nevertheless.

All three of Oklahoma’s new leotards this season have been all-red, which is fine, but I find it a bit boring. I’m used to flashier or at least wilder designs at this point. This is a fine leo—I like the larger rhinestones, as well as the rhinestone sleeve “stripe”—but overall it doesn’t stand out at all.
Aaron: 9.100
Design 2.5/3, Construction 2/2, School/Theme Spirit 1/1, Creativity 0.8/1, Overall Appearance 2.8/3
I really enjoy Oklahoma’s shade of red, so this one is stunning. I always love the rhinestone designs from the Sooners, and this one is no different. It’s classy but unique and simple but striking at the same time.
Allison: 7.000
Design 2.0/3, Construction 1.5/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.8/1, Creativity 0.5/1, Overall Appearance 2.2/3
I often think Oklahoma does a little bit too much, so I am beyond happy to be judging a week where that doesn’t feel like the case. I love the athletic stripe along the sleeves, but even more, I love the rhinestone shape and pattern all over the leo.
Savanna: 7.600
Design 2.2/3, Construction 1.8/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.6/1, Creativity 0.7/1, Overall Appearance 2.3/3
Meh. It’s fine, but I would’ve loved to see something a bit flashier for Oklahoma’s first SEC championship. I like the different-sized rhinestones and how the design is cohesive from front to back. I would’ve liked a little less openness in the back, too; a smaller keyhole would’ve been perfect for this leo and would’ve drawn more attention to the pattern.

I love when Denver leans into gold, but I sort of wish in this particular instance it did it with a touch of red, too. The leotard reads more as Missouri to me. I do like the overall look, though. The gold really does stand out, as does the design on the body—although I think the rhinestones may be a bit too big for my liking.
Aaron: 8.200
Design 2.6/3, Construction 2/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.4/1, Creativity 0.7/1, Overall Appearance 2.5/3
The alternating gold and silver lines of rhinestones are stunning. The gold ombre also goes so well with the dark vibe, and there isn’t any weird strap or confusing designs in the back.
Allison: 7.600
Design 2.2/3, Construction 1.6/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.7/1, Creativity 0.7/1, Overall Appearance 2.4/3
I’ll jump right into what Elizabeth said; it could absolutely use some red somewhere. I love the cascading stream of rhinestones from the top to the bottom. The open back and Denver underneath makes my leo-loving heart swoon.
Savanna: 7.100
Design 2.0/3, Construction 1.3/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.8/1, Creativity 0.7/1, Overall Appearance 2.3/3
Another leotard with the cascading rhinestone design. This one went just a little too far down the front of the leo, though, but it works overall with the design. Even if some wish there were more red, I fully appreciate the fact that Denver went full gold; it’s outside the box for the Pioneers.

The amount of sparkles really makes this leotard stand out. The design is flattering, and the back is unique—I like the added touch of “Fire up Chips” on the straps.
Aaron: 8.400
Design 2.5/3, Construction 2/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.7/1, Creativity 0.7/1, Overall Appearance 2.5/3
What a stunning leotard! It is heavy on the rhinestones, which I like, and the straps on the back scream school spirit. I love the big opening at the back as well. It is a unique design done well.
Allison: 6.600
Design 2.0/3, Construction 1.4/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.8/1, Creativity 0.5/1, Overall Appearance 1.9/3
The best way to describe my feelings would be indifferent. Let’s start with the great feelings, though: “Fire Up Chips” on the back is an excellent use of school spirit, and I’d love to see more schools adopt this style. The front is classic, and I love the varying shades of red, but it’s so much of one color. My eyes are overwhelmed.
Savanna: 8.300
Design 2.6/3, Construction 1.5/2, School/Theme Spirit 1.0/1, Creativity 0.8/1, Overall Appearance 2.4/3
The leo design itself is not unique. However, the way the rhinestones are incorporated, coupled with the dual fabrics and “Fire Up Chips” on the back, make this a standout design. I love it.

If you described this leotard to me without me seeing it, I wouldn’t like it at all, but I actually really do. The one-armed look is fun—I just wish there was a bit more blue. I also love the back and how the block I is created using negative space.
Aaron: 7.500
Design 2/3, Construction 1.7/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.7/1, Creativity 0.8/1, Overall Appearance 2.3/3
I like this one a lot more than I would have thought. I usually wouldn’t love the different sleeve colors, but for some reason, it works. The shade of orange is gorgeous, too.
Allison: 7.700
Design 2.1/3, Construction 1.7/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.9/1, Creativity 0.8/1, Overall Appearance 2.2/3
I’m loving the asymmetrical sleeves this week. Illinois certainly didn’t shy away from orange, and I appreciate that. (Looking at you, Florida!) The empty I surrounded by gems is a great touch. I do wish the back of the leo had a whisper of more blue, though.
Savanna: 7.200
Design 1.9/3, Construction 1.3/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.9/1, Creativity 0.8/1, Overall Appearance 2.3/3
Hmmm… I don’t know how to feel about this. I don’t particularly like the two different-colored sleeves, but I like how the blue sleeve has more of the orange rhinestones to balance it out. I like the I on the front, but I wish the outline around it was a little more prominent; it kind of blends in. I do like the straps on the back, though!

Whoa. This design will be divisive, but I love it. You could never accuse it of being boring. I never really like “printed on” designs, but if I overlook that aspect, the design as a whole is so fun and has a throwback vibe to it. I love how the rhinestones accentuate some of the bursts, and I love the asymmetric nature of the neckline area. I also love the back.
Aaron: 3.800
Design 1/3, Construction 0.5/2, School/Theme Spirit 1/1, Creativity 0.8/1, Overall Appearance 0.5/3
I really don’t like the illusion that the singular mesh arm sleeve gives, and the center of the design falling on one of the shoulders just looks awkward to me. And the straps in the back—why are they uneven? I’m not the biggest fan of this one.
Allison: 8.900
Design 2.6/3, Construction 1.8/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.9/1, Creativity 0.9/1, Overall Appearance 2.7/3
This is a very Romanian leo to me, and for that reason, I love it. The asymmetrical pattern AND asymmetrical sleeves?! AND back?! I hope this leo never goes away for years and years. I enjoy how the rhinestones emphasize the printed pattern.
Savanna: 8.200
Design 2.4/3, Construction 1.4/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.8/1, Creativity 1.0/1, Overall Appearance 2.6/3
Thank you Minnesota for stepping outside the box for this leotard because WOW! This is a lot! It’s so fun with the throwback element of the starburst design, yet modernized with all the rhinestones to make the starburst pop. My only complaint is the strappy back; I normally love it, but this time I would’ve preferred it to be fully open.

It’s not a standout, but it’s a very solid leotard for a Georgia team that has had some questionable designs in recent years. I love the sleeves in particular and how the colored rhinestones pop. My only complaint is the horizontal line across the chest; I really hate it. Maybe it would have been better if it was just a bit lower so it fell at or below the bust?
Aaron: 7.900
Design 2.3/3, Construction 1.5/2, School/Theme Spirit 1/1, Creativity 0.7/1, Overall Appearance 2.4/3
This leotard is nothing to write home about, but it is a solid design that screams school spirit for the postseason. The red and black combination is a Georgia trademark, and it never disappoints.
Allison: 7.400

Very Georgia, very safe, very could-have-appeared-in-just-about-any-era-in-Georgia’s-gymnastics-history. That being said, sometimes a leo you come to expect is a surprise you didn’t know you wanted. I love the way that the red piping really pops.
Savanna: 6.700
Design 1.8/3, Construction 1.4/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.7/1, Creativity 0.6/1, Overall Appearance 2.2/3
It’s a simple Georgia leotard, so there’s not much really to like or dislike either way. I’m not the biggest fan of the red lines on the front—it’s giving corset vibes. Take that away, though, and this might’ve been one of my favorites of the weekend. I do appreciate the design on the sleeves, though. It’s not too much but not a random afterthought either.

I love the shade of red and the use of different-sized and shaped rhinestones. It almost gives it a stone pathway effect (in a good way). The matte white bottom and the cut of the top where the sleeves meet the body is also well-done.
Aaron: 7.600

Arkansas has a leotard that looks almost identical to this, but this one takes the cake for me. The back is unique but well done, and the rhinestones are stunning.

I l-o-v-e this color red. When I say I love the color red, I’m talking about this shade of red. I love the varying size of rhinestones, and I love the red belt on the white. The straps on the back are a little bit of a miss for me, though.
Savanna: 6.500

The ribbed white fabric was a real hit this weekend, I see. I love this iteration of it though. The multi-sized rhinestones are nice and bring attention to the design on the leotard. The back is OK; I would prefer fewer straps, but it’s not awful.

Everything from the shade of blue to the orange rhinestones to the fun back is great. I can’t really think of anything I would improve here; maybe move the Bronco logo to the sleeve instead? But I’m not really complaining about where it is either.
Aaron: 6.900

This reminds me of Florida’s leotard from this weekend, but I like this one more. The pop of orange is exactly what this monochromatic look needs, and Boise State nailed it. I do wish there were even more orange incorporated, but I still like it regardless.
Allison: 7.400
Design 2.2/3, Construction 1.4/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.8/1, Creativity 0.7/1, Overall Appearance 2.3/3
Dear Boise State, thank you for adding orange! I love that there’s that subtle sparkle front to back. It’s an elegant leo that easily could’ve gone a little too over the top, but this is exactly what I want from schools with blue and orange—maybe even a little more orange.
Savanna: 6.500
Design 1.7/3, Construction 1.3/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.8/1, Creativity 0.6/1, Overall Appearance 2.1/3

I like this a lot. The subtle Cal print on the white portions is a clever touch of school spirit, and the various lines and stripes are flattering. I do hate how the sides don’t match up—it’s such an easy thing to do right if you just pay attention. I also really hate the white at the top. It looks like the gymnasts are wearing collared shirts under their leotards, and it’s not cute.
Aaron: 5.400

I didn’t realize the intricacy of the stripes until seeing it up close, but from a far, it just looks like a weirdly designed striped leotard. I’m not digging the striped look, and the fact that they are also white makes it worse for me.
Allison: 7.900
Design 2.4/3, Construction 1.3/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.9/1, Creativity 0.8/1, Overall Appearance 2.5/3
Very Knights of the Round Table to me but not in a bad way. The subtle Cal woven throughout is an excellent touch. The seams just slightly not aligning does make me irate, but I’m willing to look past it on account of the rhinestone placement on the mesh sleeves.
Savanna: 8.100
Design 2.2/3, Construction 1.4/2, School/Theme Spirit 1.0/1, Creativity 1.0/1, Overall Appearance 2.5/3
Oh, I am loving this leo now that I see it close up. From a distance, it doesn’t stand out much, but the Cal printed on the white with the thin blue piping to balance out the thick white piping makes this a really nice leotard. Props to Cal for going to its first ACC championship in style. This is a win for me.

I mentioned this last week with UCLA’s leo, but I’m not really a fan of the black and blue color combination. That goes for this design, too, but there are still other elements of this leotard I like, including the sleeve cuffs and the cut of the top of the design. The back, like Michigan State’s, just looks poorly executed with the tie rather than having the straps be a closed loop.
Aaron: 6.000
Design 1.8/3, Construction 1/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.4/1, Creativity 0.8/1, Overall Appearance 2/3
I agree with Elizabeth—I’m not digging this combination of blue and black. I do like the big rhinestoned “Pitt” in the middle of the chest, though, and how it stands out from the rest of the leotard. The strappy back isn’t the worst, but I think a simpler design would have been a better move.
Allison: 7.800
Design 2.4/3, Construction 1.6/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.8/1, Creativity 0.8/1, Overall Appearance 2.2/3
I missed the memo about coresetted leos this week. Again, the tie on the bottom makes me so nervous. What doesn’t make me nervous is the lack of awkward shoulder seam where the body meets the sleeves. This is a fabulous leo, but one of the things lacking for me is a little bit of extra color for contrast.
Savanna: 7.400
Design 2.3/3, Construction 1.3/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.8/1, Creativity 0.7/1, Overall Appearance 2.3/3
Pitt has had a stellar set of new leos this year and I really like this one as well. I know most people aren’t a fan of the black and blue combination, but I don’t mind it. I wish there was more incorporation of the gold we’re used to seeing from the Panthers. The keyhole in the front isn’t my personal favorite, and I find it fascinating that we have two leotards with ties in the back on the same weekend. It’s a random element, but I don’t dislike it.

I always liked this Kentucky leo in its original blue version, so it’s a fun way to “honor” that older design with this moodier iteration. I love the way the rhinestones pop and sparkle on the matte black fabric, especially on the back. I also like the cut of the design on the body—it’s very flattering on the gymnasts.

This is a solid black leotard, but nothing really stands out to me. The sparkles are nice and nothing awkward is going on, so there isn’t much to dislike. Usually teams go for more school colors for the postseason, but I like the all-black look from Kentucky.

Design 2.2/3, Construction 1.4/2, School/Theme Spirit 0.6/1, Creativity 0.6/1, Overall Appearance 2.4/3
Moody is an excellent way of describing this, Elizabeth. I don’t think schools can go wrong with a black leo—ever. While it may not be strong on the school spirit side—it would need a hint of blue gems—it’s a fantastic style that looks good from all angles.
Savanna: 7.100

Black is not a color I would typically associate with Kentucky, but I like the way this one came out. The design on the front really gives it a fun look that allows for any gymnast to shine. I’m not the fan of the straps down the back, but that’s neither here nor there.

I can’t be the only person getting UNC vibes, right? I do love the small gap in the front between the collar and torso. Auburn Tigers down the sleeve is such a unique touch—I love that font. It could definitely use some orange somewhere, though.

The design of the rhinestone in the front is absolutely gorgeous, but nothing else really stands out to me. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I feel like something is missing from this leotard. It almost feels a little basic.

I’m getting in the car to buy a ring because I LOVE it. There’s no strange seam to be found, and I love the sparkling gold accents in the shape of sparkles, the mesh, the deep v-neck, and the straps in the back. Sometimes UCLA can get a little too flashy or a little too blah, but it walks that line perfectly with this one.

Hello Rodeo Drive! This is a very classy UCLA design, but it’s almost too tame for what we’ve come to expect from the Bruins. I do like the gold rhinestones and the mix of the mesh and the matte fabric. It’s pretty, but it still lacks something for me.

I want to like this, but there are just some elements I can’t get behind. The cross-hatching on the body is a good idea in theory to tie into the shoulders, but it looks a bit tacky in execution (I’m not really a fan of printed-on designs); I do really like the shoulders, though. The back, again, is good in theory, but that lengthy, dangling excess fabric from the lace-up element is a disaster waiting to happen.

I like everything except the straps, especially the ones at the shoulders. It was definitely a fashion risk going for these kinds of straps, and I don’t think it’s working for me. The rhinestone design and this shade of green, however, look great.

Michigan State knows how to make an entrance with its leos. The strappy shoulders and the open back are something I don’t think I’ve ever seen. The tie at the bottom makes me nervous, but I delight in the concept of it. I also appreciate that the cross-stitch style pattern, from the shoulders to the back to the printed pattern to the lettering.

I don’t totally hate this. Michigan State is known for some out-of-the-box leotards, and this one fits in perfectly. The open shoulders and corset back with the tie is a nice touch. I don’t think I’m the biggest fan of the Xs on the front, but overall, it’s a pretty leotard!

The shade of red here is gorgeous. I can’t get enough of it. I also like how the sleeves continue the design on the body, yet the solid fabric coming below the mesh doesn’t look clunky or out of place. I also love the back and think it ties into the overall design nicely.

I don’t like the monochromatic red look, but I can’t deny that it is a pretty leotard. The shade is striking, and the rhinestone design blends in well.

This is a classic, simple leo, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Because of that, the open, corset back pops all the more because you’re not expecting it. There’s something to be said about a leo that doesn’t pull too much focus from the gymnastics. I’d like to see maybe a little more color other than red, though.

I have raged over Rutgers’ leo designs in the past, but this is one I can’t complain about. I love this shade of red and how simple the rhinestone design is on the front. The criss-cross pattern on the back is really pretty and ties into the design well, too. Very well done!

Compared to Arizona State’s usual standards, this is pretty plain. I like the sleeves, the red on the back, and of course, the velvet, but it feels more like a throwaway stock design leo than something you’d wear for the conference championships.

This looks very similar to other leotards I’ve seen from Arizona State, so nothing feels shocking or different about it. The design itself is well done, and I’m digging the mesh ombre sleeves, but overall I’m not excited.

I’ve been staring at this leo for a little bit, and I still don’t know how I feel about it. The mesh reminds me of party streamers, and I think I like it. I get lost in the top half and wish there was a different gem design—or maybe none of at all. I thoroughly enjoy the back, though, and wish the party streamer also made an appearance there.

Compared to the other leos the Sun Devils have debuted this year, this one is relatively tame. I like the subtle black to maroon ombre on the sleeves and the velvet fabric on the bottom. The middle sections of fabric are a different choice, but I don’t totally hate them.

I knew Michigan had something wild planned for the postseason, and this doesn’t disappoint in that respect. It does, however, disappoint in being actually good. All I can see on the chest is an exclamation point, there is way too much yellow, and the transition from the body to the shoulders/sleeves is poorly executed.

Sometimes I’m not a fan of the shades of yellow that Michigan uses in its leotard, but this one is an exception. The blue and yellow complement each other well, and the unique back straps are executed well.

Fun, playful, bright—there is a LOT of yellow from some angles, but overall, it ends up all working out. The giant diamond on the torso throws me off for some reason, but I do enjoy the use of mesh to mellow out the sleeves and pattern.

I don’t really know what to think of this. It’s not super crazy, but it has some elements that just make me wonder. The encrusted rhinestones in the middle are just a bit odd for me, and the yellow hurts my eyes. If there had been thicker blue straps on the back and a little less yellow, this would’ve been better, but right now, it’s just not my personal favorite.

I have mixed feelings. The front is really nice, especially how the rhinestones make the fabrics look textured and incredibly sparkly. The back is certainly unique, but I’m not sure it’s in a good way. I don’t really like how it looks like they’re wearing a strappy tank or sports bra under an open-back leotard. Kind of weird.

The black and white aren’t really complementing each other well, but the rhinestone design is solid. The super deep black V neck also isn’t my favorite, but it matches the cohesiveness of the rest of the leotard.

A leotard for when you have a meet at six but a black tie event at nine. While I usually want a simple leo to have a splash of color to offset the deep tones. I wish the back was a little less strappy, which is unusual for me; I wish the back echoed the front a bit more.

I’m getting tuxedo vibes from this one, and I’m not entirely sure if I like that or not. The rhinestone design is beautiful, and the different-sized stones really helped the pattern stand out. I don’t like the way the white cuts off in a straight line—I never have been a fan of the straight-line cut. The back is fine, but I don’t like the white from the front extending to the back.

I like when teams do designs based on throwbacks (I know Dantzscher is an icon, but what does she have to do with Washington?), but they should either have a modern spin or really lean into the old quirks. This just looks dated. And with the other leotard choices Washington has been making this season (remaking all its recent non-GK leotards because of what I’m assuming is some dumb exclusivity clause in a contract rather than spending that money on fresh designs is just strange), this just falls flat for me. Also, what’s going on with the seams around the armpit? Surely it could have been designed better to avoid that, right?

It might have been a standout leotard then, but it’s just basic now. Washington could have gone in a unique direction, but it seems like someone was just a huge Jamie Dantzscher fan.

I’ll be transparent right out of the gate: There’s a little bias from me about the love for this leo. It feels so old school, and yeah, the Dantzscher connection doesn’t quite connect, but I feel like this jumped straight off the page out of an early 2000s GK magazine. The cascading gemstones are the perfect shining touch.

This one kind of confuses me. The cascading rhinestones are beautiful on the purple, and I like the white sleeves to tie it all together. I’m still perplexed as to how this ties into Washington, but it’s a nice leotard regardless.

I don’t really get how some teams can have a huge leotard closet yet keep things fresh while others can have a lot of leotards yet most feel so redundant or boring. Florida falls into the latter category. I love the shade of blue and the matte vibes of the fabric, but otherwise, this is just so mundane. There’s nothing special about it, especially for a conference championship meet. It also just doesn’t look like it fits very well.

I don’t like this shade of blue for a monochromatic leotard. It would look a lot better if Florida incorporated some different colors here, and I’m not digging the neckline either.

I’m not really feeling this one. There’s a whole lot of blue going on, but Florida has been going a bit too big and too bold for its leos at times, so maybe I should appreciate this quiet one a little bit more. Even if it is a quiet one, it could use different shades of blue, some white, some orange, or even a little bit of Gator green.

Oh, Florida. You always manage to get so close to making a design I love, yet you’re so far at the same time. I don’t like the neckline; it looks too much like a turtleneck for me. I wish the rhinestoning stood out a little more with some orange or another similar element, but I do like the open back.

Claire H pointed out how the seams are different—why is there one thicker black seam on the left and not the right?—and now I can’t unsee it. I can respect the idea behind this design, but I don’t like it at all. The “I’m wearing a tank leotard with a weird long-sleeved mesh crop top over it” look is just not doing it for me.

Whoa, there is so much going on here. This looks like they put a mesh top on top of a training leotard. I’m on the same confusion train about the black seams. It’s a unique leotard that is for sure…

When I close my eyes, I can totally see the intent, but the execution, not quite. I’m totally into the mesh being cardigan-esque over the tank leo, but I wish the watermark idea was executed on the tank rather than over the mesh with the pattern going the full torso.

There is way too much happening here for me. The mesh over the tank top look is not for me. The red bottom straight across the waistline is just…a no. I love the idea and how it represents the school, but the execution falls flat.
