Lily Smith Georgia

LIVE BLOG: No. 10 Kentucky at No. 9 Georgia

Happy Sunday from Stegeman Coliseum! This afternoon, we have another thrilling top-10 SEC showdown on deck.

Georgia is coming off a narrow loss to Missouri at the Hearnes Center last weekend, but the GymDogs still posted standout performances. Lily Smith and Anya Turner claimed event titles on beam and floor, respectively, with Turner’s stellar routine earning her SEC Co-Specialist of the Week honors. Ady Wahl, Ja’Free Scott, Kara Eaker, and Nyla Aquino also contributed high-scoring routines, proving Georgia’s depth across the board.

Kentucky also enters this meet after a close battle on the road, falling just short against LSU in Baton Rouge. Isabella Magnelli and Mackenzie Wilson led the way on vault, while Delaynee Rodriguez took the bars title. Magnelli added another top score on beam, with Creslyn Brose right behind her, and Brose and Hailey Davis delivered standout floor routines.

With both teams eager to bounce back with a win, this is shaping up to be a can’t-miss showdown!
