It’s year four with Gymlytics fantasy college gymnastics in 2025! We all learned lessons when GymChem took up the helm and created her revamped game, and we’re ready for a fun new season.
Our weekly cadence will continue to match Gymlytics: The fantasy “week” begins with Friday meets, ends with any Thursday ones and trading happens every Monday via the waiver wire. You’ll find us here every Tuesday talking about “next week,” meaning the fantasy week starting that Friday.
This is your one-stop shop for all things fantasy each week. We’ll be tracking injuries, noting byes and double headers, and giving you tips and tricks to put forward your best team possible.
How did your trades work out? Did you finally have a complete score for the first time all year? If so, you’re not alone. Remember that trades are always due Tuesday afternoon for the coming week, and you usually see your updated team by Tuesday night. Don’t forget to adjust your lineups by the time meets start on Friday!
Note that Oregon State has a bye this week.

Data Corner
Once again we have data editor Dara joining us for Fantasy Central each week. She’ll be breaking down the numbers for you with notes on routine hit rate, lineup appearance frequency, and breakout performances to keep an eye on.
Hit Rate and Lineup Frequency: Over the last 10 fantasy weeks (extending into last season), the following gymnasts have been some of the most valuable* on their respective events:
- Vault: Mya Lauzon, Jade Carey, Amari Celestine, Keira Wells, Isabella Magnelli, Nikki Smith, Sage Kellerman, MaKayla Tucker, Makenzie Wilson, Amari Drayton
- Bars: Audrey Davis, Jade Carey, Jordan Bowers, eMjae Frazier, Madison Ulrich, Madelyn Williams, Ella Cesario, Emma Spence, Ashley Cowan, Maggie Slife
- Beam: Jade Carey, Jordan Bowers, Audrey Davis, Chloe Negrete, Madelyn Williams, Isabella Magnelli, Grace McCallum, Faith Torrez, Brynlee Andersen, Mya Lauzon
- Floor: Faith Torrez, Mya Lauzon, Jordan Bowers, Sophia Groth, Gabby Gladieux, Frankie Price, Jocelyn Moore, Maddie Jones, Mya Hooten, Audrey Davis
*Based on a 10-player league, using high scores for multi-meet weekends. Top 50 scores including ties in each fantasy week were included at full value, the next 50 scores were included with a slight discount, and remaining scores were ignored when calculating values.
Breakout Performances: Air Force freshman Alyssa Bigler won vault with a school record-tying 9.925 against Utah State. George Washington freshman Lola Montevago has improved on bars in each of her first three weeks, notching a 9.900 for the first time on Sunday to clinch the event title. Fifth-year Alexa Rothenbuescher got off to a shaky start in her first year competing on beam for Maryland but broke through with a 9.900 this weekend in just her third routine on the event. Nebraska junior Lauren Homecillo made her collegiate debut, posting a 9.950 at home to win the floor title.
Starts & Sits for Week 5
This is the spot to find your solutions for those big bye weeks and advice on how to handle injuries, lineup changes, and those surprise breakout performances.
Vault: Shania Adams vaulted in place of Kylee Kvamme this week for the Crimson Tide. This lineup seems to be in flux as Ashley Johnston searches for her top six, so expect it to be a little unpredictable for the next few weeks. Also, note that the Tide was dealing with illness, so some of the lineup decisions could have come down to who was healthy versus not. Olivia Hollingsworth is dealing with a minor ankle issue (per the broadcast, though her knee was wrapped), so she may continue to be out of vault and floor for the next week or two for Auburn. Anna Flynn Cashion hasn’t vaulted for the Wildcats since week one when she scored a 9.950 after being slotted in at the last minute; it’s unclear what’s going on there.
Bars: Missouri’s Kyra Burns was out of lineups this week; Olivia Kelly had her bars spot. This could have been a case of rest or just testing out new lineup strategies, especially since other lineups shifted a bit as well. As far as we know, Burns is uninjured, but put her in lineups with caution since it seems like the Tigers are shuffling things to find their ideal top six. Ja’Free Scott said in an Instagram comment that she had the flu this week; assume she’ll be back Friday when Georgia hosts Alabama. Lily Smith was back on bars this week; she’s likely to remain in this lineup, so with Scott likely back as well, look for perhaps Emma Mason to sit. Stanford lineup choices are characteristically perplexing; we saw Ui Soma last week but not this week. We cannot pretend to guess what will happen with these lineups; they always feel chaotic in January and February on the Farm.
Beam: Olivia Zsarmani didn’t compete any events for the Spartans at Ohio State. As far as we know, she was just resting. Unless we hear otherwise, assume she’ll be back this week at UCLA. If you drafted Kara Eaker, how long to hold onto her is certainly up to you, but it’s looking less and less likely she’s going to compete much if at all, given that the GymDogs have tried out 10 routines on beam and she hasn’t been one of them. Aberdeen O’Driscoll was the newest Georgia gymnast to slot into the lineup, and her 9.850 surpasses what we’ve seen from most of the gymnasts who have competed there so far; she seems likely to get at least another shot this week.
Floor: It seems that Kentucky has settled on a floor lineup that, for now at least, doesn’t include Creslyn Brose. She’s solidly in the beam lineup, but we’d hold her off floor for now. Jamison Sears was back on floor for Alabama after dealing with some injury issues during preseason and the start of 2025. Expect her to remain here and work her way back into the vault lineup, too. Leah Miller exhibitioned for LSU; if she enters the lineup, Olivia Dunne seems like the likeliest contender to drop to the seventh option.
Waiver Wire Wrap-up
Finally, we have a waiver wire in gymnastics! Who should you prioritize this week? Since Fantasy Central comes out on Tuesdays, keep in mind that these tips are catered toward next week.
Vault: Alana Laster has picked up where she left off for the Redbirds; if she is available in your league she’s an easy choice. Aggie Nyla Morabito is on a role. Her last three scores are a 9.825 and back-to-back 9.850s.
Bars: Eastern Michigan’s Kyrie Lowe has had good bars outings the past two weeks, scoring in the 9.800s. Sierra Kondo is having a strong January on the event for Maryland, topping out at a 9.950.
Beam: Olivia Kelly‘s beam debut for Missouri came in at a 9.900. If she’s available in your league, scoop her up! Illinois State sophomore Reese Grolla is getting into the groove; she scored a career-best 9.900 last week, and her bars scores keep improving. Lindsay Fuller has been on a bit of a roll at Ball State, notching a 9.800 in her debut and then a 9.875 last week. On a team known for breakout specialists, that’s a good sign.
Floor: Brockport’s Kiara Hockman scored a 9.900 this week, bringing her average to a Division III-leading 9.858. She also competes vault and beam. Lauren Homecillo made her career debut for Nebraska for a massive 9.950 last week.
Notes From the Fantasy Roundtable
Harley Tomlin made her beam debut for Georgia this week, and we think she may have warmed up floor as well.
