It’s week three of the 2025 season with an SEC dual meet featuring No. 17 Arkansas vs. No. 12 Auburn.
Last week Auburn won the Lone Star Collegiate Invitational in San Antonio, Texas, with a score of 196.775. Freshman Katelyn Jong captured four event titles, including scoring a 39.500 to win the all-around. She also won bars and beam with a score of 9.900 on both events and tied for first on vault with teammate Sara Hubbard and Arizona State gymnast Alex Theodorou, earning 9.875. Other notable Auburn results include freshman, Sophia Bell winning floor with a 9.925 and graduate student Olivia Hollingsworth with a fantastic showing in the all-around, earning 39.250 and a second-place finish.
Arkansas opened its 2025 season in Oklahoma City at the Collegiate Quad scoring a 195.875. Newcomer Joscelyn Roberson made her freshman debut and tied for first in the all-around, scoring 39.475. Unfortunately, the Razorbacks had back-to-back falls on beam, resulting in the team finishing fourth at the meet behind UCLA, Kentucky, and Ohio State.
