Helen Hu Returns to Missouri

Former Missouri gymnast Helen Hu will return to the team for the 2025 season to use her final year of eligibility. Hu last competed as a senior in 2023 and was a bars and beam standout for the Tigers. Her intention is to only compete beam.

  • Georgia head coach Cécile Canqueteau-Landi was named USA Gymnastics Women’s Artistic Coach of the Year. 
  • Pennsylvania assistant coach Cassie Hageman is moving to North Carolina, thus creating a likely opening on the Quakers’ coaching staff.
  • Former Michigan gymnast Gabby Wilson met Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz. 
  • Former Auburn gymnast Suni Lee met Beyoncé at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards.
  • LSU fifth year Olivia Dunne was named America’s Most Marketable College Star in a study by Action Network.

  • Haleigh Gibble transferred from Penn State to Towson for her junior year. She has two years of eligibility remaining.

  • Missouri freshman Kaia Tanskanen is training a toe blind to Ezhova combination on bars. Senior teammate Grace Anne Davis is training a Yurchenko one and a half vault.
  • Western Michigan sophomore Brooke Gelesko is training a clear hip to toe on front pike half dismount on bars.
  • UCLA fifth year Chae Campbell is training a back handspring to two foot layout series on beam. Senior teammate Emma Malabuyo is training a double Arabian on floor.
  • Ithaca junior Emily Kobusky is training a piked gainer dismount on beam.
  • Bridgeport junior Abigail Kenney is training a round off two-and-a-half twisting dismount on beam. Freshman teammate Lena Coxon is training a Yurchenko full on vault, and classmate Hanna Saylor is training a front double full on floor.
  • Florida sophomore Anya Pilgrim is training a Van Leeuwen on bars.
  • BYU junior Kylie Eaquinto is training a Yurchenko one and a half vault.
  • California senior Maddie Williams is training a Van Leeuwen on bars.
  • Southern Utah senior Ellie Cacciola is training a whip to double tuck pass on floor.
