Note that Vidgo is not accepting new customers as of January 2024, and this piece has been updated to reflect the change.
It’s that time again! Time to get your seasonal streaming service subscriptions turned on and ready for January 5 and the first vault of the year.
This year, we compiled the most salient information into a graphic, which is followed by notes about other conferences and teams with independent viewing options. As was true last year, a number of headline meets appear on Disney’s family of networks, which are also outlined below the graphic. International fans can scroll to the bottom for viewing information.
As always, be sure to check our master schedule for the most up-to-date information, including meet cancellations or coverage changes if applicable.
The biggest change for 2024 is of course the addition of the ACC Network to the gymnastics universe, as well as the retirement of the ESPN Player for international fans.
In short, this year we recommend that fans who want the most complete streaming service consider Sling Orange and Blue with the Sports Extra add-on with additional ESPN+ and Big Ten Plus subscriptions if desired. This combination will gain fans access to every major channel offering gymnastics in 2024.
If you are a Pac-12 or SEC fan and don’t intend to watch BTN, you should consider Sling Orange with Sports Extra to save about $8 per month. Big Ten fans who do not wish to watch either the Pac-12 Network or SEC Network should consider Sling Blue with Sports Extra to save about $3 per month.
DIRECTV has a current offer (as of Jan. 3, 2024) for an ENTERTAINMENT package plus the DIRECTV Sports Pack for $69.99/mo* for the first three months if you sign a 24-month agreement. This would include SECN and BTN, among other non-gymnastics sports offerings.
Keep in mind that DIRECTV has equipment fees and required service agreements that lock users into the service for a set number of months. Sling, YouTube TV, and Vidgo also have introductory deals.

The Add-Ons
ESPN+
Cost: $10.99/mo* or $109.99/year* (a 15% savings) standalone, bundle options below
Website: https://plus.espn.com/
ESPN+ is available as a standalone service or bundled (with ads) for $14.99 per month* with Disney+ or Hulu. Several meets carried on ESPN2 will also be available on ESPN+ this year, as noted above. All regional competitions will be streamed on ESPN+, as well as the multiview and single-event streams for all national championship sessions.
Big Ten Plus
Cost: $14.95/mo*
Website: https://www.bigtenplus.com/
Fans who only wish to watch one school’s competitions can choose a “school pass” for $9.95/mo*. Big Ten Plus still inexplicably does not offer a discounted gymnastics-only sports pass. However, we’ve found that purchasing three months of the service is cheaper than a sports-specific pass anyway.
*All prices subject to change. Additional taxes and fees may apply.

Wow, I usually do all of this research by myself each year. This is awesome!
Hi. Just FYI, you might want to inform your readers that there is also a “sports fee” added to many of these streaming services.
FUBO is great and offers a lot. But $74.99 + $7.99 FUBO Extra is not “really accurate”.
As it would seem it is $82.98 if you add the two.
But there is also a $13.99 sports fee added in plus tax (depending on state)
So altogether for FUBO Pro +EXTRA it is actually $104.96 for me here in Massachusetts.
So just be wary that there ARE additional fees and to review before purchasing.
