Tonight’s top-ten matchup features a lock for the night session at SEC championships and a home team who could easily earn one of its own. While Kentucky has gone most of the season without major issues (it’s in the top 10, after all) the Wildcats must step up landings and polish if they want to hang with the away team tonight. Last week, Kaitlin DeGuzman was carried off the floor after an apparent injury during her exhibition routine, so look to see if she is replaced in the bars lineup tonight.
Florida punched in the nation’s highest floor total last week, which attracted considerable backlash if you somehow weren’t aware. All eyes will be on the Gators tonight as they move into less friendly territory looking for a road win. That win would clinch them at least a share of the SEC regular-season trophy, as they’re the only SEC team to not lose a conference meet yet.

Skaggs (UF): Big Tkatchev to Pak, sticks DLO to end with some legs. 9.850
Magnelli (UK): Front pike half, little hop back. 9.850
McCusker (UF): She’s back! Pretty Maloney, legs on the Pak a little bit, Van Leeuqen her usual, double back, can’t quite see but landing was strong. Oh it’s a stick. 9.800
Please hold y’all, my stream cut out.
Patterson (UK): Front pike half, lovely in the air, tiny shuffle back. 9.950 a career high for her.
Thomas (UF): Some leg separation on Pak, huge Van Leeuwen, DLO has to hop back a few steps. 9.825
Worley (UK): Can’t continue the stick parade unfortunately, hop on the landing but another big vault in the air. 9.875
Wong (UF): Maloney, pretty Pak to Van Leeuwen, the latter skill was a bit labored, DLO super pikey and lands low, steps forward. 9.725
AFTER ONE: Kentucky 49.450, Florida 49.150
Procacsky’s opening stick rejuvenated Kentucky’s vault lineup for a strong outing. Florida will not be happy with its landings after that one.
Rotation 2: Florida VT, Kentucky UB
Skaggs (UF): Her usual full, small step back. 9.900
Davis (UK): DLO looks pretty in the air, steps back. 9.800
Schoenherr (UF): 1.5, legs crossed in the air, small step to the side. 9.900
Procasky (UK): Her first time in the lineup this season, replacing DeGuzman. Pretty lines, good Pak, double back tiny step. Good stepping up there. 9.800
Wong (UF): Half on front pike half off, almost looks like a stick but steps out of it just a little. 9.900
Nixon (UK): Big full-in, tiny TINY hop to the side. 9.875
Reed (UF): 1.5, does a little step dance out of it. Not super controlled. 9.825
Luksik (UK): Tkatchev not the biggest, bail better, nice handstands, sort of pikey DLO but sticks. 9.925
Thomas (UF): Everyone is a little off today, hops forward a little on her 1.5.
Angeny (UK): Blind change to JAeger good, legs a little apart at the end of the DLO and a small hop.
Blakely (UF): Anchor! She’s back. Small step forward, legs in the air, 9.925 is charitable.
Worley (UK): Big Tkatchev, Pak legs separated (not “glued,” Bridget), handstands nice as always, sticks DLO.
AFTER TWO: Kentucky 98.850, Florida 98.675
Kentucky lost a little momentum on bars with the dismounts but still managed to post its highest total of the season. Florida couldn’t get its usual sticks on vault but will be happy to have Blakely back in the end if she’s going to get those scores.
Rotation 3: Kentucky BB, Florida FX
Luksik (UK): Onodi pretty, tiny shuffle on the BHS LOSO, switch half not quite 180 but controlled, beat, gainer pike small step. 9.675
Richards (UF): Love her Reggaeton routine. DLO big to open, straddle half to popa, back 1.5 to front lay. 9.750
Clay (UK): Love her blue hair. BHS LOSO bent legs, front aerial slight check, back 1.5 small hop forward, nervy but a hit. 9.725
Baumann (UF): Her opening choreo is so stunning. Back 1.5 to front full small step out. Pretty leap combo as always. Big slide out of double pike. 9.800
Apologies for lack of scores, my stats page isn’t loading.
Magnelli (UK): 9.900
Wong (UF): Triple less control than usual but good, back half to front full, double pike. LOL at Adrian looking over to the team knowingly and encouraging them to flash 10 hands. 9.850
Patterson (UK): Big air on BHS LOSO slight check, front aerial to split leap, slight hesitation between. Switch to switch, Gainer pike stuck. 9.850
Reed (UF): 10.0 watch here. DLO the usual, FHS front lay to Rudi, steps back slightly controlled, switch half to wolf jump, double pike. 9.950
Worley (UK): Straddle half dynamic, front aerial, BHS LOSO, front toss hesitation, back 1.5 holds the stick. 9.875
Thomas (UF): DLO the usual, FHS front full front lay, huge air on the leaps, double pike strong, will be big. Oh, 10.000.
Hearing Magnelli’s score was lowered to a 9.85 because 9.900 was the result of 9.800/10.000 split. Super normal.
Angeny (UK): series slight check. beat to straddle half, back full stuck. Good last few routines there. 9.825
Blakely (UF): Double Arabian stumbles out, double tuck much better and more controlled. Back 1.5 to front lay was kinda scary, did not get air at aLL on the layout. 9.750
Conference for Angeny beam.
AFTER THREE: Kentucky 147.975, Florida 148.025
Florida leads by the razor thing margin of 0.050. The Gators tightened it up with the big last few scores.
Rotation 4: Florida BB, Kentucky FX
Skaggs (UF): BHS LOSO, front aerial, some hesitations, straddle half, back full, stick. 9.950
LaClair (UK): Big double pike, good straddle positions on the leaps, another scary pass front lay to front full barelyyyy gets it around and lands on her butt. 9.075
Blakely (UF): Side somi small check, back full stuck. 9.925
Procasky (UK): Bre Showers’s floor music which I remember because I love it. Front lay to front full, back tuck chest slightly down, pretty. 9.825
Baumann (UF): BHS LOSO, leaps nice, all her usual so far, front aerial, side aerial. 9.850
Magnelli (UK): Rudi small step, double pike chest somewhat down, strong two-pass routine. 9.850
Wong (UF): BHS LOSO perfect, ring gorgeous, front aerial no hesitation looking very solid thus far, back double full has to step back. Pretty routine. 9.850
Haigis (UK): straddles big but not quite 180, double pike opens up early an hops out of it. 9.825
Thomas (UF): BHS LOSO no issues. Front aerial to beat jump to back swingdown, so far very few deductions. Back full stuck. 9.975 39.700 AA.
Davis (UK): Blackpink music! Controlled double pike, back 1.5 to full usual, good double tuck to end. 9.925
Clapper (UF): Triple series major check. Switch to split, sticks back full.
Worley (UK): Has never scored below 9.925 this season. Full-in usual good landing, love this dramatic music. FHS to front full to front lay, controlled double tuck to end. Love the camera on Nya Reed clapping. 9.95, 10 was seen on stats.
Final: Florida 197.575, Kentucky 197.350
Florida’s uncharacteristic landing issues kept it close all night but the Gators squeaked it out. It was their lowest score of the season, though. Kentucky started out on fire with those stuck vaults and couldn’t keep the same magic energy going forward, but still turned in a solid performance. Worley was, as usual, the standout.
AA Winner: Thomas 39.700
VT Winner: Patterson 9.950
UB Winner: Luksik and Worley 9.925
BB Winner: Thomas 9.975
FX Winner: Thomas 10.000
