About Kenadi

Brown competed in the all around in most meets of her freshman season at Alaska. There, she earned first team All-MPSF all around honors and set a new school record on bars with her 9.732 average. Prior to college, she qualified twice to Region 1 regionals (2018 and 2019) and won a bronze medal on floor at the 2019 Nevada state meet.

What She Brings to New Hampshire

Vault

  • Skill: Yurchenko layout
  • Margin of Improvement: Brown could improve her block, as her laid out position is a bit piked in the air.
  • Impact on the Team: New Hampshire failed to break into the 9.9s on vault in 2020, but its lineup was solid. It will want to avoid having to use a 9.75 start value vault, though.

Uneven Bars

  • Skills: bail to handstand, Khorkina, blind full to double tuck dismount
  • Margin of Improvement: She could tighten her form a tad more and hit her handstands more precisely.
  • Impact on the Team: With one of its best bar workers, Riley Freehling, having graduated, New Hampshire will be looking for someone to replace her. Brown has potential to score in the 9.8s.

Balance Beam

  • Skills: BHS + LOSO, cat leap to side aerial, full turn, switch leap + straddle jump three quarter, side aerial, back tucked full
  • Margin of Improvement: She has a slight knee bend on her acrobatic series and struggles with consistency, but when she hits, her routine is very strong.
  • Impact on the Team: With Freehling and Emma Winer having graduated, New Hampshire will be seeking to replace one third of its lineup. Brown will be expected to contribute, though she will want to work on her nerves.

Floor Exercise

  • Skills: double tuck, 1.5 twist to front full twist, Rudi
  • Margin of Improvement: Her Rudi could be a bit higher in the air but her form is otherwise good.
  • Impact on the Team: New Hampshire will seek to replace Winer, its highest-scoring floor worker, in 2021. Brown may be shy of 9.9s, but her routine could make a significant impact on the lineup.
