Recruiting Roundup: May 16

With nationals complete, college coaches will be following up with potential recruits in the class of ‘25 and ‘26. 

News

  • Jennifer Williams (Stanford, ‘25) has been selected to represent Sweden at the European Championships. She also competed at the Varna World Challenge Cup where she took bronze on floor.
  • Nola Matthews (UCLA, ‘25) also competed at the Varna World Challenge Cup where she won gold on bars and floor. She also qualified to beam finals, placing fifth after an unfortunate fall.
  • Adele Ossi, originally a 2026 recruit, has announced that she will graduate early and join the team at Clemson as part of the incoming freshman class.

Commitment Switches

  • Four-star recruit Ashlee Sullivan (‘25) has committed to UCLA, she was previously committed to Michigan.
  • Following the announcement of the departure of the head coaches at Cal for Clemson, three-star Sydney Snyder (‘26) has changed her commitment to join the Howells at Clemson.

Class of 2025
  • Makenna Brooks has committed to Northern Illinois. She qualified to nationals in 2024 and has an all-around high of 37.400.
  • Hannah Gouldbourne has committed to Wilberforce.
  • Camden Contakos has committed to Rhode Island. Beam and floor are her top scoring events.
  • Johanna Sasser will continue her academic and athletic career at Bowling Green.
  • Harper Hamilton has committed to Winona State.
  • Gustavus Adolphus adds two with Scarlett Voss taking her talents to St.Peter. A current level 9, she placed 12th all-around at the 2025 level 9 nationals. They also secured the commitment of Canadian gymnast Zara Reboks.
  • Sophie Dunham is college-bound after committing to Springfield. A current level 9, she has focused on vault, beam, and floor since 2023. Springfield added a second in Delana Davis who brings a top score on beam of 9.300
  • Dylan Shields will pursue her collegiate gymnastics career at Air Force.
Class of 2026
  • Leni DePauw is set to join the gymnastics program at UW-Stout. Her strongest scoring event is beam where she brings a personal best score of 9.500.
