It’s nationals weekend which means the final club meets for many gymnasts in the class of 2025. College coaches will be in the audience looking to fill final roster spots and scout out the talent in the upcoming recruiting years.

News

The 22 invitational meets that count as qualifiers for the 2026 Nastia Liukin Cup have been announced. One junior and senior from each meet qualify to the prestigious competition.

Becca Mitchell (Alaska, ‘25) has been selected to represent Denmark at the European Championships.

Commitment Switches

  • Molly Brinkman (four-star, ‘25), who was previously committed to Clemson, will now join the team at LSU on a full ride.
  • Jillian Fisher (four-star, ‘25) will attend North Carolina on a full ride. She was previously committed to Iowa State.

 

New Commitments

Class of 2025
  • Skylar Dixon, a three-star recruit, announced her full ride commitment to Illinois. She is switching class years and will graduate early to join the class of 2025.
  • Karina Vega, a member of the Puerto Rican national team, has announced her commitment to NC State on a full ride. Vega is the 2021 National Champion and has competed at the Pan American Games.
  • Northern Illinois added two with Makenna Brooks and Alanah Wallace, the latter is a two-time national qualifier and will take up a full ride offer.
  • Gustavus Adolphus added Olivia Ronning as a fourth in their incoming freshman class.
  • Joei Sciremammano will continue her athletic and academic career at Brockport.
  • Gianna Smith has committed to West Chester. She has a vault high of 9.575 and has been training a handspring front pike.
  • Jozie Armos will join the team at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.  
  • Desiree Abron will go to Ithaca to continue her academic and athletic career.
Class of 2026
  • Three-star Kira Keller will become a Bronco following her commitment to Boise State on a full ride. Keller is a 2023 Nastia Liukin Cup qualifier and has qualified to 2025 nationals.
