Projected 2022 Regular Season All-Americans

With the end of the regular season and regionals fast approaching, the first round of All-Americans were named for all four events and the all-around. The honor is determined by NQS with the top eight on each event and the all-around making the first team and Nos. 9 to 16, with ties, making the second team.

Note that these lists are derived using the above criteria but are not official until announced by the WCGA or respective schools.

  1. Trinity Thomas is 1st team All American on VT (NQS 9.965), UB (NQS 9.95) BB (NQS 9.965) and FX (NQS 9.9801). She shares the top NCAA AA score 39.85 (with teammate Leanne Wong). She won the SEC AA 39.825.

  2. So? Are you suggesting that the rules in place for All Americans be changed after the fact? She competed all around 5 times. It takes 6 to be eligible. end of story. No one is saying she’s not one of the best all arounders.
