Team Class Ranking Tracker
In the class of 2021, Pitt jumped from No. 22 to No. 14 thanks to the commitment of 3-star Canadian Jordyn Ewing. The class of 2022 has changed a lot because of the release of our updated ratings earlier this month. Most noticeably, both Alabama and Georgia have overtaken UCLA for second and third place in the rankings, respectively, while Oklahoma dropped from No. 6 to No. 12.
Committed Tracker
- Arkansas signee Leah Smith is training an increasingly solid full-twisting double layout off bars.
- Alabama commit Lillian Lewis is training a big double layout on floor.
Uncommitted Watcher
- Alayna Estonilo, in the class of 2021, showed off a double double on floor.
- Madison Richman, in the class of 2022, is training a Tsuk full vault and a double front on floor.
- Carla Ferzoco, in the class of 2022, is training a pretty side aerial to layout stepout on beam.
- Kandence Nguyen, in the class of 2022, has a switch ring on beam.
- Chelsea Hannigan, in the class of 2023, is training a double Arabian on floor.
- Taylor DeVries, in the class of 2023, is working on a Yurchenko 1.5 on vault.
- Mary Mcdonough, in the class of 2023, showed off a side aerial to switch leap to switch half on beam.
- Cameron Hailey, in the class of 2023, is training a Yurchenko 1.5, among other upgrades.
- Teagan White, in the class of 2024, is training a double Arabian dismount off bars.
- Kylee Kvamme, in the class of 2024, is training a double Arabian on floor, as well as some upgrades on the other events.
Elite Corner
- Nebraska commit Csenge Bácskay of Hungary won gold on vault at the Osijek World Cup (13.649) and bronze on the same event at the Cairo Challenge Cup (13.130).
- Potential future NCAA gymnasts Amelie Morgan, Jessica Gadirova and Jennifer Gadirova were named to Great Britain’s Olympic team alongside veteran Alice Kinsella.
- Simone Biles won her seventh U.S. national all around title (119.650) ahead of Auburn signee Sunisa Lee (114.950) and UCLA signee Jordan Chiles (114.450).
- The United States announced its Olympic team, which includes Simone Biles, Auburn signee Sunisa Lee, UCLA signee Jordan Chiles and Utah signee Grace McCallum. Oregon State signee Jade Carey and former Ute MyKayla Skinner will also compete in Tokyo as individuals.
