With the announcement that Long Island University will be adding a women’s Division I gymnastics program for the 2021 season, we figured we’d send out a call to action for one of our favorite parts of the sport: leotards!
So we’re asking the gymternet to use LIU’s colors of blue and gold—think UCLA— to design one (or six!) leotards you’d love to see the Sharks wear in their inaugural season. We know you’ve been thinking about it already anyway.

Feel free to use any of the free online leotard designers linked to below, or completely customize the blank template included at the bottom of this article.
Submit your design to us via social media, email ([email protected]) or by posting in the comments, and we’ll be picking our favorites to judge in a special bonus edition of Leotard Rankings at the end of this season.
Deadline is Friday, April 3 at 5 p.m. ET. No limit to entries per person. Please include a social media handle and/or your name (first and last initial) so we can credit your work!
